Lolly Legs- Josh Mantellato

Josh missed that kick by inches from the sideline and the pro wests commentators reckoned he had been psyched out.
I've seen him and a few mates at Wests NSW cuo games before.
Good on them for having a good day out. It's kind of comical to hear 3 or 4 guys going off all by themselves. They bring banners and all.
 
I'd heard all about this but hadn't seen it, thanks for posting it. Pretty weird, like how awkward would you feel being one dude just yelling out :lol:
 
The clip is actually a bit poor. The guy was doing it for 3 or 4 times that long.
Mantellato took a fair bit of time moving advertising out of the way and trying to get his runup right, and the guy was into him the whole time.
I saw him and his mates last year at number 2 sportsground and they set up a banner on the hill opposite the grandstand and got stuck into the Knights all game. It's all good fun.
 
You are correct Billy, they have been 'lolly legging' him for at least the past 2 years. There is also someone from Cessnock who does it when they play up there..... Although he seemed to be absent last game at the Knock!
 
If I remember my 'Bellbird' correctly, and specifically the character 'Lolly legs' Davis, it's an Australian Rules thing. (no one under 55 will know what that's about).

What about the guy absolutely giving it to Bryson Goodwin for 80 minutes at that NSW Cup game we went to a few years ago?

I like these crowd-player grudges that seem to emanate from the lower grades haha.

Good to see ol' Lolly Legs in first grade this week too.
