After this game, are people still going to doubt Hayne's ability as a centre. I had no doubts Hayne would fit into the right centre nicely and he performed exceptionally well last night.
I reckon it will. He is going to be marking Goodwin and I think Hayne could cause more havoc on that right centre. Anyways, Hayne will have a go against Fiji/Samoa at right centre and will probably have another terrific game.I don't think anyone doubted his ability, They just questioned selecting him out of position...
I am still not sold on it working that well against the Kiwis...

i don't get if slater was injured why hayne wouldn't be picked @rhugh89

Thought Aus would have put on a bit more than 60 tbh, that's a fairly good effort from the USA.
A few times this cup I've expected a side to concede around 80 against one of the big guns, but they haven't. Maybe the gap is closing between the minnows and the big three?
It is closing I think...But NZ and Australia are way still way ahead of everyone else..
England are not convincing at all...
The USA and Scotland have over-achieved and with the right funding and resources they can start challenging for top 10 in the world (Currently 11 & 12)
Teams higher up like France (4th), Wales (5th), Tonga (10th) and Ireland (9th) better watch out I think...
Great for the international game !!!![]()
It's slow progress, but still good to see.
