Early 2013 City v Country Team Predictions

Yeah exactly, NZ will lose but looking at that side I'm just more confident of an even bigger scoreline, most of those players are out of form or simply crap plus you're missing guys like Nightingale, Eastwood, Vatuvei, Bromwich etc

I wouldn't be surprised if something like that was selected, NZ selectors have shown in the past that they're not exactly the brightest bunch haha.
 
I reckon it should be something like this:

1. Hoffman (Locke isn't setting the world on fire for the Warriors, Hoffman's been great at test level and hasn't been given a chance at fb at the Broncos this year, so keeps his spot imo)
2. Nightingale
3. Whare
4. Kenny-Dowall
5. Tuivasa-Sheck (bolter, but keeps the Roosters link down the right)
6. Marshall
7. Foran
8. Kasiano
9. Luke
10. Matulino
11. SBW
12. Pritchard
13. Smith

14. Bromwich
15. Glenn
16. Waerea-Hargreaves
17. Eastwood

18. Mannering (c)

Yep, I just invented the captain from the 18th man. That's taking Gidley captaining NSW from the bench and stepping it up a notch!!!
 
Abit of high expectation, but does anyone else think the Knights halves are a possibility to be the Country sides halves.??
 
That's a 10x better team James named and would definitely give the Aussies more of a run for their money, but they still have no chance lol

Yeah Maloney would be Country you'd think

If the selectors are going down the youngster road then I don't see why Mullen and Roberts could've be the halves, they're the best eligible combo going around at the moment, going better than Carney that's for sure but I don't think it'll happen.
 
In This weeks RLW The Mole has said Blake Ferguson has been "Blacklisted" by Laurie Daley and the other Country selectors and will not be selected for City vs Country or Origin
 
Hopefully guys who are already shoo-ins for NSW and aren't in the Aus team don't get picked in the City/Country teams, like J Morris, Jennings and Merrin etc I'd rather see younger talent like McKinnon, Klemmer show what they've got
