They must be about to offload a few at the end of the year, like us. They've already given away Earl & Seluini. The real question is how can the Dogs get Brown, Inu, the 2 Perretts & Low mid-season while signing the big T-Rex. How many wingers do they need haha, wouldn't be surprised if they went for Gagai aswell.

sure, but with Jenno, Lewis, McKendry, Gordon and Grant reportedly taking up $2 mil of their cap it doesn't leave a whole lotta dosh for the rest of 'em and they're not all reggies...
 
they were giving coote to anyone who wanted him aswell they should have kept gordon and got rid of coote in the first place

Gordon is going to the Sharks next year and knowing the Panthers he probably took up nearly a quarter of the salary cap.

I don't really any Knights fan can complain about any teams salary. At the start of the season we had everything we wanted.
 
he should of watched his mouth and especially when everyone else can see it, anyway hopefully he will be playing this week because lewis is on origin duties.

i 100% agree with you, coote has done nothing all year, he cost penrith probably every game so far, they would be shaking their heads now.
 
On the topic of Penrith, just read on NRL Gossip Facebook page that Jonathan Thurston may be a Panther sometime soon. I myself think it's a load of crap, but it gave me a good laugh so i thought id share it with you all.

In what could either be the biggest scoop in Rugby League or the “BS” rumour of the year, We are getting mail that Cowboys Jonathan Thurston is in advanced discussions with the Penrith Panthers, we understand the Panthers are requesting 2013 but 2014 is more likely with Thurston off contract.

And they re-sign Luke Walsh and Brad Tighe to 3 year deals? Strip their best player of the captaincy.

No wonder they are spoon contenders.
 
This is NOT a rumour or anything, but i would like to see Beau Henry go back to the Dragons. He obviously isn't going anywhere at the Titans & noone will give him a run at his real position of halfback. The Dragons need a halfback for when Hornby retires, so what better than bringing home a local junior who killed it in NYC as a halfback? It would seem right, i just feel kinda sorry for him playing QLD Cup for the rest of his days.
 
The Dragons still have Kyle Stanley there. I reckon he's a better prospect in the halves than Beau Henry.
