The one thing that ****ed me off was that last kick off. Why did Gidley not go short?? We probably wouldn't have got it but it was worth a try, after that i knew we weren't gonna get it back in time with that long kick.

Same reason we didn't take the 2 to level the game - no one out their is bloody thinking!

Ok we lost but the positives are there too ,we just gave the high flying warriors theyre hardest game in the back half of the season and if it wasnt for 3 mistakes Faaoso,s 2 drops in attack and gidley,s drop under the posts we would have won that game . So we didnt win but we bloody competed with a team that a lot of knights supporters thought were gonna smash us . Also the only change i would make to the team is roberts in stig out roberts may not have the big boot that stig has but he has a better all round game in my opinion. (I dont know why those of you that told them they couldnt win on here are so upset you picked it you were right but from now on we should all give our team the feeling that ALL theyre supporters are backing them up and telling them they can win .

Any other top 8 team in NRL would have taken the two, square it up and go from their, and for some reason we try and score even know we hadn't scored all half and the momentum was against us, and what happened we dropped the ball straight away, even if we make finals them sort of decisions on the field will kill us. At 14 all anything could have happened. Could have been the momentum swing and confidence boost we needed

Gidley had a good look. I think he was too far out. He would've soaked up two minutes and wouldn't have kicked it dead.

We were going for the win and Faas let us down in the last 5 minutes. We need to get back on the horse, if we lose next week we play the last two teams who can potentially knock us out in Rabbits and Dogs.

Uate had a shocker second half, but most of the team did. Gidley had a brain snap throwing it backwards to him to start off with.

I'm a stig fan but he needs to be dropped after that performance i counted at least two attacking opportunities where he shouldve kicked or passed and instead stepped and got pummeled the big one you should look at is the set before the Warriors score in the corner in the 2nd half we were throwing the ball around like headless chooks as soon as the ball got to a recognised ball player (Stig, Mullen, Gidley) it shoudlve been thrown on the boot and grubbered in behind the line force a repeat set as we were going nowhere except he stepped and got smashed on the last. We lost all momentum after that, when he first came in we were so happy we had a ball player taking on the line with a great step but now thats the only thing he does and its very one dimensional teams are reading it easy. He needs to go back to Centurions for at least a week to realise hes not playing QLD cup anymore for Northern Pride and as a half needs to promote the football more

Nope, Gidley just went for the hero play....that's unlike him...

After a flawed but gripping contest, Gidley also chastised himself for some uncharacteristic errors and for not taking a shot at penalty goal when it was on offer.
"I'm disappointed with a couple of things that I did in the game," Gidley said.
"If that was a semi-final, I would have taken the two. That's the way I should have approached it. I'm really disappointed in myself for not making that decision."

So he should be, 35m out with 10 minutes left to level the scoreline, he was mad not to take it! We would of got the ball back then at 14 all and probably would of gone on to win it.

You'd expect better from someone who has captained at soo level, at least we gave the warriors a run over there and hopefully ALL the boys have learnt as a team how to play at that intensity. Geez that game had a semi-final feel to it.
Let's all hope by some miracle that the bunnies and dogs lose this weekend and keep that 4 point buffer

The toughest game we've played for a couple of years. The team should learn a lot from it. We played well!

Well in that case then it's just an absolute brain snap.

We were no where near scoring in the second half.

Strange that he says he'd have taken it in a semi! He didn't think this game was important?

Sometimes the skip doesn't think ie. Origin stuffups. Last nights game looked brutal. The hits and line speed was great to see.

If he makes it 14 all it's a different ball game. You expect better.

Did anyone else think Richie could have gained a penalty when he lost the ball on the first ? A penalty is given 9 times out of 10. Also not the first time they have knocked back 2 points that could have changed result. At one of the first home games they did the same. Strange decision given how difficult tries were to come by. No one can be disappointed in the effort however the execution at times in the 2nd half was terrible and although he's a great player Gidley is fast becoming the 2011 version of Toovey with all the whinging to the referee he does. Just get on with playing the game FFS.

Yeah Gidley needs to accept decisions, I hate his whinging!!!

The refs do too. He should be having a whinge to the team, not the refs.

I was ok with the Mannering try... BOTD if anything. We were lucky to get that first try anyway.

We lacked ball control second half and crap last play options.
