This is the year of the hoodoo break (well our Canberra one anyway).

Lets kill off 2 in one foul swoop; winning in NZ and the dreaded 4 in a row

Had a look at some stats and its warriors great offloads v our crappy offloads conceded and our great line break record versus their crappy line defense.

Line breaks V offloads, should make for an interesting game.

Knights 32
Warriors 22

The difference is, our scramble defense has been superb this year, and we are finally finishing our linebreaks. We are good when we run straight over the top of teams, with our hard running forwards, and our strong running backs

Agree K22, our defense can be great when we aim up.

That is the thing that must continue if we are to have a good crack this year. Strong defense.

Points can come from anywhere.

We havent beaten any sides above us apart from the Cowboys in Round 2 and a depleted Dragons side. Dont think we'll win this one....we havent won 4 in a row in like forever....

We also haven't fielded this strong of a team since round 1...

This game will say alot about where we are as a top 8 team, Im looking forward to it

How is our defence when Hilder is missing ? I've noticed many times a try is scored within minutes of him being replaced but how have we gone when he's missed the entire game ?

Hilder has missed 1 game this year, Round 19 when Manly flogged us 32-10, keeping in mind they had given up by half time. Not great confidence coming from that. I also don't like that we are moving Gidley again for Hilder. 5/5 games this year we've won with Gidley at fullback, and 108-28 in the past 3 games with Gidley at fullback. I honestly don't get why you would change it. De Gois can play the 80, and Houston/Edwards can rotate the lock position.

At the start yes, but with Hilder being ruled out, and Stone adding Mata'utai to the team, I can't see Pete moving to lock/hooker when needed, it will be Gidley who moves

Games not till Saturday, things can change between then and now. In fact this is a quote from Rick Stone from the article about losing Hilder.

http://www.newcastleknights.com.au/...&title=stone-confident-despite-loss-of-hilder

“We’re going to add Peter Mata’utia to our squad and we’ll sort out what our final seventeen is once we get over there

So there is every chance of Gidley playing 80 minutes at FB and De Gois 80 minutes at HK. There may even bring Lulia into the 17 and use him in the same role he has played the last couple of weeks.

Apparently the only game on this weekend is the Broncos vs Cowboys, footy show doesn't have any time in their 500th show to even tip the other games, guess we shall wait til next week for the football

I don't think we can jag a win to be honest, however whilst ever Gids is in the side, we will put up a good fight!

Like a few others, i'm getting more confident as we get closer to the game.

We will lose.

Quote me on that.

Someones gotta say it: Uate lost us that game.

1. Didnt complete the tackle given to him on a platter by Gidley. -> Result is a Warriors try after Manu gets back up and offloads.
2. Knocks on, on the goal line
3. Totally missed that ball coming through, resulting in the try which made it 14-12.
