NSW to blow QLD away in the first half and hold on strongly. Uate to give Boyd hell on NSW right wing the whole game.

Going to be a very close game and honestly i have no idea who is going to win. I just hope NSW do. ( Although I am going to the 3rd game so i sort of want it to be a decider)

I think that it will be a closer game then people may think not because nsw has picked a great side but because Qld is alot weaker then previous years, this may be our best chance to strike I just wish mullen gids and carney were there to share in the spoils

Queensland by 20. There nucleus being their 1,6,7,9 are unbeatable, it will be interesting to see how Carney and Hayne go in game 2 ;p

I don't know if it's in 3D this year?! I have a 3D tv as well, but like...channel 9 haven't been advertising it in 3D.

Damnit, I was looking forward to testing it out for the first time.

Is Harvey Norman even sponsoring SOO this year?

Don't know, but if no 3D tv is happening (and i'm positive its not), I don't think it's relevant. We're not even getting SOO in HD!! (tv stations are only allowed one HD channel by law, and well channel 9 have gem on). it's an issue of ratings and audience numbers, because not everybody has HD yet, but come analogue switch off we'll probably see a spike in HD programming.

I'm getting more and more confident every day about a NSW victory.
Thursday morning threatens to be very dissapointing.

On a 9am flight tomorrow morning for my first ever Origin game in Brisbane. Bring it on! NSW will be much better prepared than previous years, and it might sound like 'yeh yeh same old rubbish talk' but any team coached by Stuart at rep level will be fired up! Stuart had the players turn up to the ground tonight, and spoke to them about how it's just another ground. He then took them down Caxton Street. Teams over the last 5 years have avoided the tradition Origin brings and becoming mentally tough.

Good Luck NSW.

My heart says NSW, but my Head says Qld. With a spine of Slater, Thurston, Lockyer and Smith its hard to go past Qld.

We have the better 3/4 backline with some real strike weapons out wide. They have no Inglis or Hodges, so they may struggle a bit finishing off for a try. We can't play the conservative approach where we just complete our sets with with one out stuff - We probably need to stick it to them by throwing the footy around and also putting some pressure on the likes of Nielsen and Yow Yeh.

I also think Uate will be bombed to ****house and have plenty of numbers in set plays going his way tomorrow night. I'm praying he can handle it

Watched the footage on "The Originals" of Lockyer telling the team to put up a bomb after "that fight" and to smash whoever caught it (Gids).
Lockyer YOU DOG! You're not even close to Andrew Johns.
A good fullback and a good 5/8 who's played in good teams - making him look better than he really is.
I don't remember him looking so good when Joey was around, he only stands up when there's no opposition.
Kick off high to Locky and belt him into retirement!

The whingeing QLDers have already given their obligatory speech about dirty tactics and NSW players "Hunting" for Lockyer.

Hopefully he gets smashed into retirement and cannot play for the rest of the season along with Smith and Slater.
