Knights v Sharks trial

This year Im trying to get to about 6 or so games.

If I come out of that with a record of 6-0 or 5-1, I'm going to petition for a MS.com funded season which will see me attend all the knights games for the 2012 season haha.

Interesting to see big games from Sau and DeGois. Two guys who'd feel uncomfortable by Tinklers comments during the week.

I can't say I buy into this Voodoo stuff lol.

I go to 16 games a year on average (sometimes more, sometimes less) and have been doing so for years. I usually end up on either side of the scale each year.

How did Costigan go Jekk?

And if you don't mind, how did Wade Graham go for the Sharks?

Tbh I didn't notice either of them. I don't think Likiliki came on until the second half but I barely noticed him either. Hmm

The boys played very well, now they have to keep it up for the rest of the season.

It wouldn't surprise me if Henry/Mullen was the default 6/7 combo for the year.

If the Sharks played like they did for the last 60 minutes of the game this year, they'll get the wooden spoon.

Knights = great game last night. Great to take into RD1,
Panthers = big loss, great for us for them to take into RD1

:D:D:D:D

Im not a fan of these play the ball penalties... They are too strict... Obiviously it is a rule of the game, but surely there has to be a degree of leeway. A slight step off the mark and you get a penalty, what about momentum?

Of course, if its a huge off the mark then blow it, but for a foot or 2 there is no need.

The penalty count for these infringements alone last night was high. Too high.

I heard Gidley when he played halfback killed it, according to one of the Sharks fans there. Interesting dilemma for Stone especially since McDonnell was good at fullback.
It seemed their forward pack was all over ours but thats no surprise. Backrow options are decent, its just the props that need to lift a bit.

Particularly when someone is laying under you like I saw a few times last night. I don't think you are supposed to play the ball on top of someone else

cool :D anyways good luck newcastle i hope we win tonight :)

I hope Tye Alchin is OK.

In an odd co-incidence, the last person i can remember being flown out of the middle of a game on a helicopter was Tye's uncle about 20 years ago.

He missed a year or two of footy, so on one hand I hope Tye recovers like him, but on the other I hope Tye is not injured.

It happened to Nathan Cayless in about 1998, but he was fine, walking around in hospital a few hours later.

It does get really annoying!!!!

Great TRIAL win. Gids at 7 blew the game away.

PS the last time the Knights beat the Sharks by a big score in a trial the Sharks went within a game of the GF.
