New rugby league video game coming to PS3/Xbox 360

Well I haven't played it, but franchise is everything for me ...

Even though I only played one season in RL2. :P

Have you played the game? You told me not to rip it to shreds before I played it, and here you are saying that it's worse than RL2 without playing it.

Oh, what a burn, braniac.

Criticising the graphics before the game even comes out is a little different to criticising a known missing feature of the game after it has come out. You can only see how the graphics look by playing the game. You know there is no franchise mode from this thread.

But nice try.
 
Very dissappointed with no franchise mode, actual gameplay not bad, but will look forward to internet play once i have set it all up
 
I agree AJP. sorry for bumping an old thread but i've clocked a ridiculous amount of hours on RL1 2 and 3. I think this is the worst installment yet.

Gameplay is deadset boring, nothing like real life. I mean, every 2nd cutout gets intercepted, if you have someone fast at dummy half you will make a ridiculous amount of linebreaks by scooting.

They've only included the big hits so people that can't even play these games can just run around pressing triangle and still have some type of fun. I have 200 or so posts on Sidhe forum cos i really do like rugby league games and if what you say about big ant are doing the next 5 installments im dissapointed.

BTW : A rumour thats 99% certain. RLL coming out for pc this month (:

well I got my copy of the game today for the ps3 and I must say that its not too bad at all....only been playing it for an hour or so and I am still struggling a bit with the controls but I have won my first 3 games.......
 
I got the game about 2 months ago, the graphics are much better than RL3, but tbh i think i like RL3 better.
 
well im 21 rounds into my first season and I have not lost a game and have only had 12 points scored against me...I am playing the game on easy and there is just NO challenge at all.
I have played it on medium and its too hard lol...im not even going to try hard...
its pretty silly that there is such a HUGE difference to the gameplay between easy and medium settings...
once I have finished the first season I dont think I will pick this game up again,back to gran turismo 5 it is!!!
