In think we should roll them this week. I really think we should be giving Mata'utia a go in first grade soon. He has been killing it lately in Toyota Cup.

I like Cruise Wilson and Tetevano as well. They should be pushing for a chance in our top grade soon. They both play with a lot of vigor and manage to break a few tackles each time they hit it up.

penrith in after 30 seconds...under the sticks

12th minute: knights in near the sticks...kicked missed, penrith 6-4, 14 minutes in

19th minute: knights score intercept try 8-6 kick to come from the sideline...off the posts, still 8-6 knights

23rd minute: knights in right next to the posts, 12-6 knights, kick to come...converted, knights 14-6

Curtis looks like a promising young kid
Smith reads the game well for his to tries and at 17 im looking forward to seeing what else he has to offer

Forwards lack any concentration or motivation, looked like a bunch of lost sheep out there
Chanel Mata’utia was responsible for about 5 tries needs to harden up and learn more about positional play

Organization was a huge problem in this game for us first half with ball in hand we looked like a great team but the second we lose it we fell apart. If Penrith held the ball till 6th tackle they were almost granted a try
Organization and working as a unit is what the team need to focus on lots of moments of individual brilliance not much team work i what i saw today

A real dissapointing game for the Knights. I don't think I have seen a comeback from 26-6 down to put on 58 points and win. That's spectacular!

panthers fans asked me yesterday what has happened to our 'production line' of juniors as they always saw us as their only rivals in terms of having the best rugby league nursery in the world...I had no answer for them and wondered the same thing myself...

Canberra produces some outstanding juniors as well, I think they are the best.

I have no idea what's happened to Newcastle, look at our 1997 winning side, mainly local juniors ... and the reserve grade side from around that time went to Melbourne and won a comp there in 1999!

Now we produce noooothing.
