Should we Look at Ben Hunt Or Benny Barba to play in the halves could get them cheap, With Tim Smith Looking to get a run at the Broncs and Peter Wallace there too, Barba Similar situation...

Ben Hunt maybe, Ben Barba no. Although he has talent, I have found Barba to be way to hot and cold.

I wouldn't mind going for someone like Josh McCrone, looks like a promising young halfback. He played some pretty impressive footy to at the Raiders last year . He seems like a player who could play well along side Mullen

Mcrone is no better then Dururea it would be a waste of money

[Bono]

[joe]

if were goin to sign another half we need to sign someone who will bring something to the club like for example big game experience soward would be worth chasing maybe even hornby or finch nut they need to be a match winner

[Bono]

or push for luke lewis or maybe ben roberts

[Lynchyknight]

or push for luke lewis or maybe ben roberts

totaly agree both of them would be an awesome signing, Roberts is inconsitent but is better then Dureau and Lewis would be an awesome pick up

[Bono]

yeh i thinnk its time the knights got a big signing havnt had 1 since ben cross and he has turnmed out to be **** knights need to sign big name players

[Mr Goanna]

so now we're interested in Mateo ...

[Matho]

so now we're interested in Mateo ...

Remours have it the Knights willing to pay $500, 000 a year

[Bono]

i think they said they will have 500, 000 left for 2 star players after resigning every1

[Matho]

i think they said they will have 500, 000 left for 2 star players after resigning every1

$500k won't get you two star players these days ....... sign Mateo & top up a current Knights player .......... Don't see him leaving the Eels if Mortimer goes to Canterbury ....... If Mortimer goes it will take every bit of that $500k to lure him to Newcastle......

In my eyes he would be a better buy then Inu

[Joshhh]

Do we really need Mateo, we've got Mullen & Rogers at five-eight and Taia & Hilder at lock. I think a decent prop/second rower or a prolific tryscoring winger would be a good buy.

You dont buy prolific tryscoring wingers, you produce them, or else u end up paying through the roof for guys like Isreal Folau. Who to say they'll score 20+ tries on your team? too risky.

Agreed, and a try-scoring winger is only as good as the players inside him. McManus for example, how many chances does he mess up? If we had the players inside giving him chances, he'd easily cross for 20 in a season.

[Bono]

i think we should buy inu

[Ms.Nobody]

Mateo could be that one player we need to partner Mullo in the halves.

You just never know. We need one big name player.
