yeh just looked at the ESL website and it was played last night haha. Channel 9 up to their broadcasting best :rolleyes:. Just read the article on the previous page about bedsy and yeh he didnt play, but i wont post the result in case U23 or anyone else wants to watch it.

When will it get through to TV people that sports pretty much has to be shown live, there is no point in delaying it, half and hour max but even that ruins it. delaying it 24 hours and still showing it at 1.30am, behind 3 average saturday night movies is pretty bad. If they wanna challenge ONE HD, CH9 are gunna need to pick up their game cause apart from cricket and State of Origin it seems like they dont care about sports coverage.
 
Both sides had some players out and Celts hadn't had any warm up matches prior to last night because of the weather. No Bedsy for the first 3 matches of this season - he's still recovering from his bicep.

After showing a replay of the Leeds-Crusaders clash at 1.30am this Sunday, Nine will broadcast the match of the round at 2pm each Sunday from February 15 and another game live on Sunday mornings once daylight savings ends in NSW.

it would be pointless rushing him back for that game, no point risking him in a game that would be kinda meaningless to bedsy.

Yep i watched it, it was a pretty good game, alot of mistakes though. Matt Gidley played well with 2 tries and how did Warrington blow a 14 point lead. What about the crowds over there, they get so loud. Some of their crowds sound like they have 50,000+ in the stadium.
 
Watched the 1st half...2nd half too but doozed off too many times...& thats when the points were too...nice to have it on at a good time. The only problem is its dark over there so it feels funny where was its day here.

yeahh i totally agree with everything !!! but how funny are the commentators with heir accents

Been like that for years now.

Super League has always had the better atmosphere compared to the NRL.
