Your team V Titans

Reserve grade stats are in.
Mocreidreke topped all the stats - most runs with 18, most run metres with 196, most post contact metres with 80, most line breaks with 2, most tries with 1, most fantasy points with 61.
I watched the game and thought Mocre was the standout, but i'm surprised his stats are so good. I thought he was starved of good ball because of how bad everyone else was going.

Crossland won't be playing 6 and you can bet everything on it.

It's clear by now that AOB sees the best value out of him as a utility.

Cogger will be our 5/8 this week and for the subsequent 12 while Gamble is out unfit, unless of course he gets injured.

He’s been producing for a while now? He’d be thinking if he doesn’t get a run soon with us he will have to move on. 80 post contact metres is insane, he’s almost run the length of the field with blokes hanging off him!

Cogger 14. Crossland goes from 6 to 9 to give Brailey a rest. I suppose either way round if AoB is brave enough he can mix it up. But I’d defo prefer Crossland to start at 6 just for his D and boot in the early phases.
Brails played 80 this week, 51 tackles (only 1 miss) and seemed to be strong at the back end of the game too.....this is great news for the squad because we can really start looking to a rotation that doesn't require us to think about spelling our number 9👍

It doesn't really matter who's at 6 tbh. If Fifita is firing, he'll be hard to stop no matter who's defending.

If he's not though (which is a very high chance because he's lazy af), we'll win easily.

Cogger’s defence doesn’t concern me - he gets his body in front and really if the opposition is getting 1 on 1 with a half frequently that’s on the blokes around him. We usually have two halves who are built like back rowers so we expect them to make 1 on 1 tackles, but for most teams the men around them need to give them more help.

What concerns me more is how passive and unconfident Jack can be. One game it’s clear that he’s supposed to be shouldering a lot of the kicking burden and he has a strong game in that regard, the next you’d assume that should keep going because he’s got the best boot on him but he’s barely kicking at all and it looks like it’s because he’s just not putting himself in the frame enough to do the kicking. His attacking contribution is minimal to the extent where it just seems like he doesn’t back himself to try to do much of anything. You’d think the wraps he gets for his work at Penrith last year would change things in this regard but nope.

The Daily Telegraph via Facebook, (both of which I rarely find reputable) are reporting that Bradman, Dane and Friz are all in doubt for the Titans came through hamstring and calf strains. If true then we shall have a very interesting looking lineup for the weekend…

It was written by Buzz Rothfield so I wouldn’t be surprised if all three just pulled up sore and Buzz wrote a fear-mongering article about it.

Gamble and Hastings played against the Dogs.
With all due respect, Gamble did not play in the Knight’s team that was steamrolled by the Dogs.
The Knights halves in that game were Hastings and Cogger.
And Kikau did have a blinder in that match.
I repeat if Obi plays Cogger at 6 against the Titans this weekend, Kikau will have a day out against us as well.

Fafita will have a day out against us this weekend(correction)

Cogger was named at six and swapped out for Gamble for the actual game precisely because of Kikau.

Nah you’ve gotta have more than one talent on your team to win a game. The titans played good footy until Foran came off and then they were cooked. Very nearly lost against a very average Cows team.
