Also Damien Cook is now allowed to be approached by rival clubs for 2020, apparently wants $800k.

He’d definitely be an upgrade at hooker for us, but I think we could better use the coin for some good props which I’d argue we are in greater need of.

For one he is a late bloomer. So yet to be tested on whether he can back it up once sides work him out.
Also after origin this year he was no where to be seen. Once the Burgess boys especially lost the impact they had on games in the last 3rd of the season Cook was invisible.
800k for him is a very big risk in my opinion.

Rd21 cook was best on ground vs the storm
The 3 burgess combined for over 500m
Rd22 cook was still awesome in a loss to the roosters where he made most tackles and all 3 Burgess combined for just under 500m
Rd23 cook topped the tackle count
Burgess boy ran for 300m
Rd 24 cook top the tackle count
Burgess boys made 350m combined
Rd25 cook topped the tackle count
Burgess boys ran for over 450m combined

Again you read into stats to much young padawan. Burgess boys could of been making metres but they sure as hell weren’t dominating the ruck with their quick play the balls allowing for the likes of Cook and Walker to play on the front foot.
Topped tackle count? Wow I guess that backs my point up. Teams targeted him more and nullified what he is best at. He was not the threat he was at the start and middle of the season.

Last 10 games of the season includes finals they played as well (which works out to be 4/10). In any case, I agree Cook is a weapon and a massive part of their attack. I think we’ve got hooker fairly covered though. We need props. Klem and AFB and we’d be set. If no new centres become available, we’ve got some great juniors coming through that I wouldn’t mind seeing have a go.

Your original points are garbage which you're trying to move the goal posts to suit your agenda.
What players would you buy for the knights?
Cause in my eyes everyone is over priced or over hyped or shouldn't be able to talk to that we've had mentioned on here the past few months.

Far from moving the goal posts I originally stated they won something like 2/3 of their last 10 games for the year. You moved the goal posts in attempt to show they in fact won 6 when they didn’t. Only a fool wouldn’t include their finals games as part of the last 10 games for the year.
All I’ve said is Cook at 800k would be a big risk in my opinion. He will be going on 29 at the start of that contract having only been a decent FG player for 2 years max. Absolute silly money for someone not proved himself year after year in my opinion.
