Your team for 2019

Who misses out? Legit question. We need another big bopper in 17.

8. Daniel Saifiti
9. Danny Levi
10. Tim Glasby
11. Lachlan Fitzgibbon
12. Auden Guerra
13. Herman Ese ese
14. Jamie Buhrer
15. Mitch Barnett / Sione Mata utia
16. Jacob Saifiti
17. Sualo/King but hopefully another signing comes along

Glasby can do 60+ minutes no problem
ESE at lock can do 60+ minutes also.
Dan was starting to do 60+ minutes also.

If Jacob is fit we can use a 3 rotation no worries and give sulo or king a short stink.

Ch7 saying that addin fonua-Blake is requesting a release. No link to us apart from Browny said he was after that type of player. Let’s hope it’s true and that he’s coming our way.

Damn you Beaumont stealing my thunder haha

Throw the chequebook at him. If the story is accurate, it shows how much disharmony is caused to clubs in those situations. Can see why the Knights are being patient and seeing how it plays out.

Yes, yes, yes. Ain’t believing no bs news piece until it happens though. He’s the battering ram we need.

That’ll do me. May be small in stature but has heart and you can tell when he’s on as he lifts the players around him defensively.

He never really got a look in with Brown, would get a run then immediately dumped back to reggies whilst other players would keep getting selected no matter what.

Pitty about Yates I liked how he dreamed of playing for the Knights his whole life and despite being under sized he managed to get there.

I'm ok with us letting him go as long as we sign a good player to take his place.

Toohey says there are 6 spots to fill in the top 30, I can come up with 23 signed, wonder who the 24th is?

Toheey News says we have $2.2mil to spend on six players And there are rumored to be 4-5 clubs under cap pressure for next season.

https://www.theherald.com.au/story/...hts-still-have-22-million-to-splurge/?cs=7580

Hopefully We manage to get some good ones i would spend the money something like this (if possible)...
$700k big bad prop
$200k prop
$400k centre
$700k good fullback
$100k depth
$100k depth

If we get a good fullback Watson and Levi can share hooker.
If we dont get another fullback we would need another hooker and maybe spend the money like this...
$800k prop
$300k prop
$400k centre
$400k hooker
$150k depth
$150k depth

When we signed Watson I remember most people saying that F/B was Watsons best position , he played his best footy there . I wouldn't spend big money on a F/b when we have Watson a good ball runner from 5/8th , id like to see what he can do with more room to move. then there's Ponga (enough said) and we have just signed a good young hungry 5/8 in lino if Ponga had to move back ..
I would put 1.4 mill away for 2 props and spend it any way you have too $1m for Klemmer and $4oo thou for another or $700,000 each for 2 good props .
Then split the other $800,000 between the other 4 .
Jeez we could do the same as everyone else and spend 3 million instead of the 2.2 were allowed lol.

It is a risky game Brown is playing with his own future hinging on results next season but the potential rewards will be big if his strategy comes off.

This is 1 of the things I like about Brown , He will take the risk to get what is best for the team and club even if it puts his head on the block if it doesn't work . I think it will and I will back him if it doesn't but with the talent he has brought to the club so far I reckon he will get who and what he wants .
