The upside is we won’t be considerably shyte in defence on an edge. He has always been solid there and isn’t that what we need? If we did manage to put Jennings on Ross coin I’d be stoked tbh, doubt it will happen now that Ross is staying put.

Well Sean Rudder did okay with much less talent and Billy here was me thinking the Rooster won the G/F with Coops directing attack and defence!

Without doubt our 2 best selections for the available 2nd row spots are Fitz and Guerra both of whom can play big minutes, Barnett is the logical 2RF bench rotation.
Sione should play 2rf - ONLY “if there are a few injuries”.
Question is who plays Lock?

Glasby

If we sign Klemmer competition for our prop rotation will loosen up a few of these smaller middle forwards

Five middles (3 start, 2 bench): Dan, Herman, klemmer, glasby, Jake/new signing

Two edge forwards: Guerra/Fitz (both go close to 80 minutes)

1 bench utility they can cover hooker: buhrer/woolford/Mann/new signing

1 bench forward that can cover second row/lock: Barnett/sione

They've said plenty of times they're not looking for another edge forward, so to me looks like a straight choice between Barnett and sione. But brown started the year with two middles, lamb and buhrer on the bench, so who knows...
 
To me it looked like Ross (who wanted that centre spot ) was trying hard to make Moga look bad. Personally im not a Ross fan anymore and the quicker we get rid of him the better .

Moga had only trained with a new team for 2 weeks before his first game.
He was as rusty as hell and played like ****.
In the game he got injured he was finally looking reasonable, but before that he was the worst player in the side by a fair way.
All those blaming Ross for Moga playing like he hadn't touched a football all off season and was trying to fit into a side he hadn't even trained with are carrying the weird hatred you have for all things Newcastle to ridiculous extremes.
 
Moga has never been a great passer, if you speak to any Broncos fan they'll tell you that.

He wasn't brought here to pass it to Ross he was brought here to run over the top of blokes

Pete Mat and Rossy had a great combo because Pete was a good passer and not so much of a bulldozer like Moga, very different players.
