My favourite knight and rugby league player ever. TIMANA TAHU. A lovely spectacle to watch with the ball and can and will put a massive hit on. (I hope he plays a feleti mateo like roll for the knights). BOO YAH
I see him more of a Steve Matai athlete. Big hits, strong body and i haven't seen that many games in the last few years of him, but from what I have he has shelved some of the ball skills in favour of strong running.

i want mad dog to hold the record for most tries for knights or at least be higher up on the ladder than tahu because he like only just got past him
He's had his moment in the sun as the Knights top tryscorer - personally I'd rather Tahu scored 20 next year and his form spurs us on to win the comp.
Individual records don't really matter in team sports.
Was that hard for you to say? I imagine it would be!

true but mad dog was my favourite player and if anyone should overtake him on that list it should be someone who he didnt overtake already on hes path to glory
With a Coach that will use set plays designed to provide Uate with clean ball in space any try scoring record is temporary. I believe Uate's battering ram role takes the edge of his brilliance. With a forward pack more capable of carting it forward and Bennett's imput Uate could score a thousand tries next year.
Although I do believe Uate's record will improve a bit, Darius seems to prefer doing those backline moves to the left, so I predict Jimmy Mac will benefit a lot more
An overrated, but okay Brett Morris (inside Matt Cooper) on the left wing scored 10 tries from 21 games, while an underrated, absolute professional like Nightingale scored 10 from 25 games on the right wing (inside Gaznier). Both have world class centers inside of them. Both had pretty good try tallies for the season, but Brett's strike rate indicates a preference to the left by Boyd, who ends up finishing a lot of the plays.
Don't get me wrong, I think Uate will get 20+, but look to Jimmy Mac to get 15+ or so.
Nightingale's record is also due to Gasnier creating nothing and never passing.
Well I believe it, but we've had Tahu signed for ages now, so I've had plenty of time to come to terms with MacDougall's record being gooorne!!!

Mmmm. He looked the happiest i've ever seen him when interviewed in Newcastle this year. He was smiling & you could tell he was exciting himself talking about playing for us next year with Wayne. He'll be a gun for us for sure.
