What do we think of the new logo for 2008

That'd be quite a change.

So next year we have a new jersey, new logo and new NRL logo. Can't wait to see them.
 
That 100 years logo is awesome, it goes above the Telstra Premiership logo. And it is going to be on all jerseys right throughout Australia in 2008, from small clubs to the national jersey.

thanks for the new bigger logos...it is growing on me i like it

the Knights have a grey background one as well that hasnt been relased yet because they are not ready to committ to the grey image....

but they have already altered the logo by putting some grey on it, so i dont c why they just go the whole hog
 
I noticed that the .pdf forms have a lot of gray in the background with the red and blue.

What about Warriors and New Zealand junior clubs James ? or no news on them ?
 
yeah they do
i think they wanted it last year with the new coach
but the away jersey was 2 young and the club was excitied about the whole 'bars' identity with the darker blue and red (which looked like navy blue and maroon instead of royal blue and white).

The fans didnt like it as much though cause of the closeness to the Roosters, cause they have always been the darker blue and red to us...

So instead of bringing back white...it looks like they are going to try grey (which is SILVER - the knights are referring to it as that because of the Knights armour)

So our next jersey expect the more Royal Blue rather than the darker one we have atm.

Its actually growing a lot on me too. I'm actually starting to like it.
 
yeah it is an attractive logo

but we should be thankful they kept that Knight...becuase I have my mate here on the phone atm and he is telling me that they were really close 2 changing it altogether...

because they wanted a new identity....the Chief apparently had alot to do with keeping this logo....

So long live the Chief....

I sort of think though that all this change would have been more welcomed last year for our 20 years season.

But with all the new jersey info your getting, im getting more and more excited, i just hope its not a complete let down.

I assume the Warriors will have to wear it because they are in the NRL, but I don't think the Kiwis or any other NZ teams will. NZ are doing their centenary celebrations this year with the All Golds and the tour of GB (since they did start off in 1907 and all).

How do they get the info on what the fans think? I reckon most I know like the logo the way it is (was), and want to keep just red and blue as our colours.

The blue in our latest jersey was a bit dark for Newcastle ... why they don't just go back to the original or the 1997 jersey I don't know (and bring back the collar while they're at it).

a change wouldnt have been too bad, if they got it right.
I wasnt initially happy with the logo, but its getting alright i guess, its just a logo!...
 
Hey wow 2008 season is gonna be heaps cool.....logo is good :)

i hope the home games we have are more warmer though :)

i wish we had some heater system & cooling system lol :)
