Tyson Frizell

Moving to the bunnies is a big difference to moving to the dogs.

Maybe he just likes the prospect of going to a contender, vs the dogs.

Would surprise me he moves to the Bunnies whilst Uncle Benny is there. Ese'ese left the Broncs to come to us while Benny was coach.

If we have money this year, why don't we front load some deals and blow the Drags out of the park with an offer?

I doubt Herman will go. He was apparently the first one Obi called to reassure him he's wanted. We should have space to re-sign him after this year, but will depend on whether we make the finals I think.

I understand why the club has been saying we don't have money to spend (so we don't get linked with everyone off contract), but I never thought the numbers added up, with us cutting about 10 players and picking up 3 or 4.
I'm not surprized we can find 800k laying around if Frizzel wants to come this year.

?????

Zero to little at all, JDB's case will be unlikely resolved before end of year and Frizell wants sorted before start of season.

"De Belin, 28, has been allowed to train with his teammates while he awaits trial.

If found not guilty, he will likely be allowed to return to the field in time for the Dragons’ NRL pre-season trial against Newcastle in Maitland on February 22."

This was the latest I found on the Foxsports website....

EDIT - sorry just found this....https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/rlpa-t...al-delay/a20d268c-0176-4016-b3ca-24baaf5f3ea7

the lesson is never use Bing as your search engine - only use google

Might not be relevant BUT how long has DeBelin got left on contract, if found guilty and contract is beyond 2020 then Dragons will have extra cap as he will be out.

Not going to be a factor in signing Frizell though. DeBellin's case has been delayed until after season starts, and Frizell will be signed by then.

Anyone see the interview after the drags 9's game on nrl.com.

Frizz was very cagey answering questions, most players in that circumstance say how much they want to stay, Friz said you cant always stay at the club you want, also said has to make a decision for his future.

After seeing that interview, I am very confident the Knights will have him signed next week.

Yeah. "Sometimes things don't work out" or whatever he said. Sounded like he was hinting he was leaving.
