same could be said if you are lucky enough to be in his good book. Some players have almost made a career out of it.Once you find yourself on AOB's sh!tlist, it's nigh impossible to get off it.
That really makes me wonder about the Knights salary cap management. Hope we don’t need another rebuild to sort it all out.550k according to a Toohey tweet although that was before this current contract
remember he was signed from Saints who gave him an immediate release to join the Knights, viewed as a starting 9, he was still in the starting side when this current extension was signed - he isnt on 200 k thats for sure. That really makes me wonder about the Knights salary cap management. Some of the boys obviously have the photos, some don't.same could be said if you are lucky enough to be in his good book. Some players have almost made a career out of it.

He’s rangy, talented and athletic. He’s bulking up too, we will be spewing he moves on giving his promising future.Very weird he hasn’t been given more of a shot this year. Apart from a few untimely errors, he was starting to look quite good.
With all those inexperienced guys in the top 30 squad, we need a coach who is good at developing young guys.8/7
Says we will have 9 rookies in the top 30 next year with an average age of 21 and 8 NRL games between them.
Kai Pearce-Paul
Will Pryce
Toni Tupouniua
Paul Bryan
Myles Martin
Dylan Lucas
Krystian Mapapalangi
Oryn Keeley
Ryan Rivett
Says Jed Cartwright is a recruitment target because he is a big body who can play centre and second row.
If we can get Frizzel, Cartwright, Tuala, Pompey all signed, we have 2 spots left for next year.
Says Hastings injured himself by kicking the ball into the crowd in our last game after scoring a try. Says he won't do that again and scans have cleared him of major injury.
Draws a long bow to say that dropping Best for missing a bus last year has led to him knuckling down and getting picked for SOO. Says discipline has been an issue for some time and has improved this year, so dropping Marzhew was a good call.
I don't think Obi is too bad at developing young players, he's just very reluctant to pick them. I think guys like Leo, Young and Best have improved mightily under him. Now he'll be forced be use some younger guys for the first time, mightn't be a bad thing. There is some talent amongst them. With all those inexperienced guys in the top 30 squad, we need a coach who is good at developing young guys.![]()
He played much longer minutes and made many more tackles this year in Ball after a firstgrade pre-season, but not scoring a try a game this year.Billy, is Martin plateauing a bit? He doesn't sound as dominant in the juniors as recent years.
Our top 17 looks reasonable but depth may be a problem.Top 30 might not be looking good but if we get our best 17 on paddock for most games we will be ok.
This years top 17, with Tuala in for Young, Brailey for Crosslands to bench moving Mann out, Lucas in for Fitzy, bench Crosslands, JSaf, Hetherington & Croker.
Thats leaving Pearce-Paul & Pryce to adjust and Cartwright as back up.
Absolutely this. The Knights can't bloody win... they get smashed for not looking after juniors.. then get criticised for giving a heap of juniors a crack in the senior squad!
I'm all for giving juniors with plenty of tomorrows a crack, and build for a future with sustained success, and deadset against bringing in half baked bog average fringe first graders on 500K + a year .....looking at Hetherington, Elliot, Miller , Mann, etc and in the process bugger the capThe Knights can't bloody win... they get smashed for not looking after juniors.. then get criticised for giving a heap of juniors a crack in the senior squad!
