According to Toohey KPP isn’t earning anywhere near that amount this year which isn’t quite as bad.

Not sure why they’d put such a big pay rise in though after just one year. The thing is KPP does actually have the potential to be worth close to that in the future but he’s not being utilised correctly at the moment.
Ideally they would re-sign him but it can’t be at that price when the spine needs upgrading.
Also if he’s earning that much what’s Lucas going to want to re-sign?

News media outlets seem to think the salary cap is $25 million instead of 12, legit figure they are actually on would be 70 percent most of the time. They can just say silly sh!t for clickbait and because salaries are private they can never be called out for inaccuracies

He has the capability to be the best edge backrower in the NRL in 2-3 years, happy to sign him on $2.4 for 4 years. Guys a competitor.

I’ve always wondered whether they include their transfer cost within the ‘salary amount’ as that’s what he’s costing the club for the year.

He isn’t on that much! He is on a lot for an unproven nrl play but not that much I reckon he is around 5-6
