Well that was terrible. Why does NZ always suck so bad in these ANZAC tests? Might help if one was ever played in NZ I guess.

Buderus was outstanding for Australia, makes you wonder why he never plays 80 minutes for rep sides, coz he dominated in the second half.

I know Wiki pulled out late, but you'd have thought we'd still have defended better than that. Gutted.
 
i must admit im not the most patriotic new zealander :D :D

good game by australia, im glad they won for joeys sake haha. i was getting a bit emotional there at the end...
 
I was getting emotional as well - kicking my drawers and then crying haha. Nothing gets me more patriotic than the Kiwis, but they didn't show too much heart tonight. Where was the gang-tackling?

I wonder who got the 9 man of the match award, Buderus gets my vote, his best rep game ever I'd say.
 
Just when you don't think things can get any worse, you get an NZ cricket team update. :lol: ....... ........ :(

Oh, I should also add that ref had a great game for Australia. Judging by some of those high-tackle penalties he was hoping the sides ran out wearing aprons and feather dusters! And if Cooper wasn't tackled then I'm a 1 litre bottle of milk. Nz sucked, but it might not have been 50 if he had a clue with his decisions.
 
There there all Kiwi supporters!!! Johns was at his absolute best as with BK, Mason and Buderus and also Tahu!!! Great game!!! wooot wooot!!!

Joey Lockyer and Buderus were awesome what a shame joey wont be playing with lockyer again! Kiwis shoulda got benji on earlier also they were lucjy to get williams try what was tahu thinking?
 
i did feel sorry for karmicheal hunt, he got absolutely smashed!! its unlikely he will play on sunday... cant wait for that game its gonna be a good un.... :)
 
Yeh 4 out of the 5 top players either played for the knights or were current in Johns, Buderus, Kennedy and Tahu!!!

Remembering Tahu usually plays centre for Parra so he was always gonna be a bit rusty!!!

Yay Buderus played so well, proves he doesn't need to be interchanged !!
Joey was good too, glad he had a good one for his last test.
Oh, and the game proved Lockyer is a fullback, he had so much more impact there. I felt bad for Hunt, but he played well, and shame hes out on sundy *note the sarcasim in the last bit*
Well i'm pretty darn happy.
 
Yeh I did feel sorry for him but hes out for the sunday game so its good for the knights and us!!! Also Petero Civoneceva will be rested as it was stated in the paper!!!

I think all will backup for the knights!!!

Yeh buderus did get it!! he played so well!!

he didnt have his shirt on when they presented it though....lets just say my eyes went wandering :D
 
roos and retirement

The best game i have seen buderus play in a long time, he is really the best hooker to have played the game. I cant imagine what we are going to do when johns and buderus retire, we havent had to really deal with knights without johns we have had him since 94 and before that we were pathetic and when we do play without him we have a 30% win rate we could be the next rabbitohs in 2009.

On a lighter note that kick from kennedy as bad as it was he now has a 100% kicking record not many players can boast that.

All in all a great performance from the mighty roos the kiwis just dropped off at the 16th minute and there was no turning back after that.

We were ok before 94, we did make the 92 semis! But now we are hopeless without Johns, there's no denying that, we rely on him pretty much 100%. Crazy to think that if he makes it to 2008 he will have been our halfback for 15 out of 21 years the Knights have been around.
