HI Guys,

does anyone have any info on where Tim Natusch is??

is he injured, I havent heard anything from this guy this year, he was close to playing First Grade with us..

Cheers

Last thing i heard was a back injury during the trials.
He was looking like having a good season till then, and i think we really need him soon - although we seem to have more props in NYC than you can poke a stick at.

He was close to first grade though wasnt he? He sounded like he would be good for the NYC and the rate were going in it.

I worded that badly.
Tim is too old for NYC - but all the players not needed for NYC seem to get a run in NSW cup, and with Garbutt and McGlory stepping up in NYC and Joel Edwards back from injury we suddenly have Edwards, Gallen, Tovo, McHattan, Garbutt, McGlory and even Dobbins all looking fantastic at prop in NYC - and we only need 4 of those 7.

At the moment though they arent getting enough go forward.

Ive got one for you, how long until some of the Harold Matts are playing NYC?

They can been 17-18 and play in it for a good 2-3 years.

I can't remember a Mats player stepping up to the under 20s - but i think Callan Richardson got a game or two in his first year of Ball, so he is basically playing his 4th year of under 20s now.
Peter Mata'utia might have got a game last year too, so his game of NYC tonight means he might play under 20's over 4 years before he is finished.

I think the gap between 16 year olds and 20 year olds is pretty huge though. Those are the fastest maturing years of your life i'd say.

The NYC side will look awesome, when some of those HM players step up..Promising future.
We shouldn't forget the Ball guys, especially Jeremy Papamau who should play NYC as soon as he is fit and might give firstgrade a nudge next year if he lives up to the promice he showed last year. We didn't put him on a big contract last year for his looks.
Peter Mata'utia has freakish abilities and he is as cool as Joey. I'd like to see him grow a bit, but he just never seems under pressure.
Theeran Pearson hasn't come on like i'd hoped, but i saw his score a try at Toronto where he looked like Matty Bowen. He is a fit little Aboriginal halfback with speed to burn.
Big Josh Aoilaimai (I always spell that wrong) is supposed to be one of the strongest guys at the club and is a monster explosive prop - while his partner, Ben Tupou, is a prop who goes really well for 80 minutes if he has to, and he is bigger than big brother Anthony, who goes pretty well.
Another guy worth watching is 5/8 Blake Birch. He is more a halfback IMO, but he could well have the best kicking game we have seen at the club in a few years - better than Scotty Dureau at the same age.

Its amazing how so many juniors show so much promise but very few ever develop into consistant firstgraders. Hopefully with BS around we will see more juniors really develop.

About 5 guys on average make firstgrade each year - and only a couple of those have a long career.
For each age group we have maybe 12-15 guys looking to be one of those two positions.

The 2006 Flegg side (or 2004 Ball title winners) were our best junior side ever. So far they have had Luke Walsh, Jarrod Mullen (played Ball - not Flegg), Scott Dureau, Cory Paterson, Kade Snowden, Terrence Seu Seu, Steve Gordon and James McManus make firstgrade, and Brendan Hlad (Castleford in England), Lucas Miller (Melbourne Storm), Aku Uate, Tim Natusch, Jacob Ling, Callan Richardson and possibly Hanan Laban and Jonathon wright (Parramatta) might still make it - so that group of juniors have had 7 firstgraders already and may one day have 15 firstgraders - but the Flegg side the year before had Nathan Hinton - that's it.

It's unfortunate Tim received this injury, I think he has the skills to make first grade, whether it's with us or another team is the question.

Really hope he can get a run with us, out of all our juniors, I'm more eager for him to get a spot than anyone else.

Can't believe we let Tim Natusch go, he was going to have heaps of Potential and was already making an impact off the bench, especially in the Knights v Bulldogs Round 12 2009 Match, one of my favourites.

Tim is awesome

I know Tim, he currently plays for Wynnum Manly Seagulls hes one of my best friends and like a brother to me the guy who was picking on him for moving to the broncos should get a life TIM IS THE BEST!!!:badgrin: SO LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!
