Rumour mill is saying that he doesn't want to leave Sydney or join a club at the bottom of the ladder.

My guess is that if there's a shortage of serious suitors for his services (try saying that with a lisp), he'll dig his heels in and stay at the Doggies

Quite likely true, was quite likely true from the beginning. But I haven't seen anything of a rumour anywhere on the interwebs. Just have to wait and see.

We certainly don't seem to be able to attract top line forwards, we miss out on every one we try to lure here.

Woods said it himself... Won't be at the Knights.

He has every right to be fussy given his tremendous success at club level.

I get he makes 150 offloads etc. but he is so lazy off the ball and his effort in play the ball etc is bad. I’d have him for discounted price but he’s dreaming if he will get 500plus at a top 8club

With the way the top 30 rules look to be, the next cab off the rank is Pat Mat for prop it looks like? I don't think anyone wants to go down that route, with 1 injury we're already using Lillyman, Heighington & King as regulars. Saulo would be good to see, but not if we're forced to use him more than we should.

Amey I think is eligible, he is big, rather him than Pat at prop although Pat is a bit more robust.

If we sign Grant, or any other player, for this year do we drop someone from our 30 so he can play 1sts?

We have had to pre pay players to fill our cap space thus far.
Grant will slide into our 30 no probs and when he does arrive he will be in the 17 that week.

Imo he will be a starter for us within the first month of
arriving here.

Our prop rotation is chithouse atm.

As a few have mentioned he's better than Lillyman, Heighno & King so he'll likely be in the 17 every week and will probably start some matches as well.

Im happy enough with the signing as long as we still sign another two props for next year

Grant is playing off the bench today. im going to watch him very closely to see how he goes.
I believe we are a big chance of getting him this month because Cleary really doesn't like him for some reason if he had a different coach i believe he would have played more games this year in that squad.
Cleary also got rid of him at the Panthers.
And i also think the Tigers might be trying to get Mybye before June 30 and the might have to relieve some cap pressure to get him.
Will be good to get him for a couple of years on 100k or so.
