He all but admitted he did himself no favours neither of us was a fitfor each other and he came here with the salts after no contract offer except for us.

Sure, I watch the interview as well, my comment wasn't specifically about that one player but how the club treats players in general.

Honestly just happy for Jenkins he proved many Knights and NRL fans wrong, not to mention the Knights coaching staff including AOB, he is clearly really happy where he belongs, he is going great.

Good on him he is a great picture of hard work paying off

Or the Cowboys, or the Bunnies, or the … Broncos (2018-19 version).

It’s a massive stretch to blame our club for him not producing here … if anything he was given too many chances in his time here, he was awful.

And proving Adam wrong give me a break, he even said his preseason and nsw cup for didn't do him any favours.

Stretch ?there isn’t a worse team in nrl at not getting the maximum out of there players or playing them to there strengths difference with shibaski this year is his extremely fit compared to the other years you mentioned

The bloke had nothing left to give here and it was clear for all to see. Yeah I was all in on him getting sacked for sure, nothing wrong with that and I'll be damned if I'm going to apolgise for it or be made out to be unreasonable! I never attacked the man, just his coaching and that his time was done, and the club kept him probably at least a season too long.

Funny how one side of an opinion is described as AOB bashing, but the other by inference is level headed and reasonable. There were plenty of defenders of AOB, then he gets sacked and those same people are talking about how he didn't work out for us etc. My opinion is those wanting him gone were just ahead of the thinking. I and others wanted him gone, the club appear to have come around and agreed. I'll take that as vindication!

Not sure where I said anything about proving Adam wrong. And again, my comment wasn't about that one player though you seem to have attached my comment to that players performance here. I couldn't care less about Jenkins and how he played here, only how the club deals with players. To me that interview gives a peak behind the curtain of how this club operates. To you it seems they are just the words of one player with an axe to grind. Which is fair enough. Again, to me that shows how the club operates for ALL players, not just that one.

My comment wasn't even about AOB specifically but again you have attached my comment to be AOB bashing. My comment was about the club, and the **** show they appear to be behind that curtain.

There is a reason this club has been a basket case for so long, with multiple coaches. I hope Holbrook turns it around, I'm right behind him. I just hope the club can get itself in order at the same time!
 
Only lost his spot because the squad was named the day after Shibasaki scored 2 tries in the grand final. I'd be backing Best to get back ahead of him in camp, he's a much more talented player and that should only be heightened playing with quality players all around him.
 
It’s Walter’s picking favourites, no one from fans, media and I suspect some coaches would pick Shiba over Best.

Look I’m happy he has found his way and is playing well, the more good players play the better for the watching of league, but at his very best he is no Best

Shibs and fit don't go in the same sentence. Even Madge dropped him back to q cup coz he wouldn't do the extras required and dropped down too far on KPIs at training.

Madge dropped him cause he got on the **** and turned up too training hung over to say he is unfit is laughable that whole broncos squad is at a different level they ran down the three best teams based on effort and fitness and shibaski played a massive roll those tough Carries when he rushes back to get them out of trouble you can’t do if your unfit
 
The effort and commitment to his training has always been the knock on Shiba though. Great year this year, is likely going to get paid by someone, hope for that team’s sake he doesn’t immediately turn into a pumpkin there.
