Watched the Leeds/Saints game today, pretty scrappy match, commentary was poor.

Would rather watch Toyota Cup tbh.

Yea that man of steel thing is rigged, Barrett should have won last seaosn and Greenshields should have won it this season.
 
Catalans has improved so much this season that 2009 should be a top two finish & may be a trip to old trafford. Last in season one (thank god they had a deal with RFL and didn't get relagated), wembley last year & two home finals this season.

Hope Celtic Crusaders beat Salford in league one GF next sunday!

Wigan Super League Premiers For The First Since 1998

Wigan beat Leeds this week
Wigan beat St Helens next week
 
Wigan just couldn't match Leeds last night although Mark Calderwood played out of his skin and mounted a one-man defence at times. Kept out Jones-Buchanan (twice) and Burrow for what looked like certain tries. But Leeds got through to the Grand Final 18-14.

I reckon last night took too much out of them to beat Saints.
 
Yeah I think Saints should be too strong.

Did anyone think Harrison Hanson looked real weird in that game. It looked like he had makeup on, he freaked me out.
 
Leeds beat St Helens 24-16.

I didn't really expect it but Leeds just had far better tactics in the wet conditions. Sinfield's (& Leeds) kicking game was superb. Saints got rattled too easily and Pryce was non-existent.

Well done Leeds!
