Lakers still have to shed a contract before October AND still need a shooting wing. Bronny made a lot of progress last season and might be kept, but I guess if they get a 2nd rounder back from the 6ers, they'll let him go as well.

Edit: Forgot to mention that Matisse, if he can stay fit, could be that shooting wing as he has really improved his 3pt shooting. Add that to his stellar defence, and he could be the bargain buy (he's on a vet minimum) of the season.

His last year is a team option. 99% chance they decline it so he can play with his dad in Philly that last season.

Interestingly in the aftermath after 'discussions with every team in the league' outside of the teams that were shortlisted, Boston expressed interest and the Clippers also did but $20m wouldn't have been enough for him to go to a team and automatically be their best player lol.

The thing I'm looking forward to most down the track actually is not having to hear Rich Paul insert himself into every story, trying to make himself relevant and appealing to future clients.
