It's absolutely ridiculous to think it would be a problem, but if people feel that strongly about it, I will close this area of the forum.

Well, that was the plan ... and then even if the new users weren't Knights fans they could stick around in the hopefully busy NRL Forum.

Don't worry, it won't be getting taken down, but I don't know how anyone in their right mind could think a bit of fun like this could lead to someone having a gambling problem? By the same token we should cancel all tipping comps as well, I spose?

If you don't like this section then don't use it, as simple as that.
 
hi my name is Lucas and i am a problem vbookie gamble i just cant seem to say no i have already lost my house and my wife is leavin me i try and convince myself that it's only virtual money but in the end i just cant............... oh wait im cured it is only virtual looks like no divorce

i love this new bit of the forum will attract alot more people i think

But seriously, if you don't like it, just don't use it! So simple that even the dumbest people could work that out ;)
 
How are people tracking after the first two matches? I broke even from my two bets.

Here's the pre-season leaderboard:

Aidos has a total of 581
Josh Hill has a total of 527
Joel has a total of 516
jamesgould has a total of 500
bedsie has a total of 500

Can't believe only three people made a profit from those two games!!!

Just a note that it seems to make sense that the threads in this forum will also double as the official match threads from now on.

Apart from Newcastle matches, which will still have their normal match thread in the main Knights forum.
 
Just a reminder to get your tips in for round one if you haven't already. I was going to update these odds to the latest (since they are a couple of weeks old), but I can't really be bothered. :lol: So there might be some juicy odds there!
