The Greatest Team Ever

Is the Melbourne Storm the best ever side to grace the Rugby League fields in the past 25 years.
Do they rate against the sides that we all haven't seen (most of us) such as the great St George team what won 11 comps in a row, South Sydney of the 1960's & 1970's, Manly of the 1970's, Eastern Suburbs of 1976/75, Parramatta & Canterbury of the 1980's, Brisbane, Canberra & Manly of the early to mid 90's or even the current past premiers such as Newcastle 01, Roosters 02 & the 05 Tigers?

In my view Brisbane of 1992/93 are the best, followed by Melbourne of last year & than Manly/Canberra of 1995

When Melbourne go 11 in a row I guess they can take the honours of best team.

I hate to say it (and maybe it's because I wasn't around for some of those other teams in the poll), but the current Melbourne team is the best team I've seen.

I think the eels if the 1980's probably were, just total class, were the entire Australian back line for a while.

Of course I wasn't there to watch them but the Dragons of 50's/60's must of been something special.

Even though i ahvent watched them at all, from what ive heard from my grandpa and other is that the Dragons were just phenonminal. They were head and shoulders above the rest for so many years, so ill have to go with them

In 2000 our team was brilliant all rep backline and some very good forwards too how we didn't win the comp I'll never know

Yeah that Knights team of 00-02 with Andrew Johns on Song we could put the sword through so many teams. usually the teams that we cant be at EAS now eg Storm, Tigers, Broncos.

Once we lost to Parra 40-0 (i think we were missing joey) and we came back to beat Brisbane 44-0 the next week (with joey)
