Great side, all the hacks like Henriques aren't considered thankfully. I'm surprised by Mitchell Johnson's omission though.

Far too inconsistent. We all saw the shocker he had to be dropped from the last series.

This has got to be the worst Ashes year ever. What's the point of having two series in the same year? I'd much rather have one solid series in England, than one in England mid-year, then another at the end of the year.

NZ need 239 runs to beat England in the first test at Lords ... gonna be a late night watching this one! Southee has led the way with a ten wicket bag for NZ.

I know Starc has done a decent job, and siddle is a toiler/workhorse, but I honestly believe the best bowling attack is pattinson, harris, bird. Bird has a first class average of 19 and test average of 16 compared to Starc's 34 in test and 33 in first class. I'm not saying stats are everything but I'd be most confident of the pattinson, harris, bird attack taking 20 wickets.

Michael Hussey has signed with the Sydney Thunder for the next Big Bash League....

Should be a great ODI tonight between NZ and England....Looking forward to seeing Luke Ronchi opening the Batting for NZ as well as the return of Daniel Vettori

Would love to see the Poms get flogged...

NZ is the only international side never to lose an ODI at Lords.

Mind you, they've only played there twice.

Wow just saw the highlights of the ODI between NZ and England from last night...

Guptill - 189 Not Out (155 Balls)

Taylor - 60 (54 Balls)

NZ - 3/359 (50 Overs)
England - 273 (44.1 Overs)

NZ smashed them by 86 Runs.....

What a performance !!! :applause:

The tables sure did turn quickly after the test series.

NZ also beat South Africa away in an odi series recently ... with any luck they'll be able to go one better than last time in this Champions Trophy and take out the final!

Well the way they are playing at the moment they will be one of the favorites in my mind...They have shown they can beat the top teams in the world...

I have been impressed with Ross Taylor ....In this ODI series he has scores of 60 and 54...

In the last 2 test matches against England he got scores of 70 and 66 in 2 of his innings...

Very Consistent and will be a key factor in how well NZ do in the champions Trophy I think...

Who's watching the Champions Trophy so far? I stayed up way too late watching NZ vs Sri Lanka last night ... it was a low scoring game, but as exciting as they come as NZ snuck home by one wicket.

Both sides completely messed up their referrals challenging decisions that were correct. Then both sides got obvious wrong calls against them and couldn't do anything. Lead to some heated moments in the middle!

There's a lot of optimism in the NZ side that they can take this out ... should be a great trans tasman clash on Wednesday!!!
