Reports say that the Panthers are willing to contribute to the salary of the Tigers new coach as they're "a rich club".
The Tigers have stated they want compensation if Cleary leaves early, looks like Gus wants Cleary badly enough for next season he'll come to the table.
Once again, the ball is in Bennett's court. Once he decides what he wants there'll be a lot of player movement. I expect the Tigers don't have enough space in their cap to afford TPJ if he wanted to follow Bennett.

Players go to play under Bennett for "less" but Bennett could have an office job after coaching anyway so I don't think he would need the absolute top of dollars at the moment.

Not too bothered about the TPJ miss for some reason.

We’ve dodged some bullets really, Scott, Bird etc.

Like Brown said there should be movement. But we are getting desperate for some size.

I get Lodge isn't popular but he would have been good for us. I always thought he was consistently good at the Broncos.

Looks like we are down to trying to pry some already contracted players away from clubs, or picking up some retirees again.

So far our recruiting for 2019 has been pretty dismal.

Patience, young padawan. We were in this position last season and picked up a range of players. There’ll be plenty of player movement IMO in next few months.

Once the speculation around Cleary / Bennett contract situations aris resolved, should either of them jump ship early there'll be something happen for sure.

Who cares about TPJ few on here said he was local which enhanced our chances, not always the case some cant stand where they grew up.

Can't recruit what's not there, Lee and Ramien will be guns for us.

Size isn't the issue, we just need some more back up props/ star props.
Dan saf 6'6 121kg
ESE 6'1 106kg
Glasby 6'2 106kg
Jake saf 6'5 114kg
That's a 447kg rotation
That's not a small rotation.
Roosters are probably the biggest pack
Napa 6'7 113kg
JWH 6'4 116kg
Tetevano 6'2 111kg
Taukeiaho 6'1 108kg
That's a 448kg rotation

Obviously that's off of the profiles which I don't think are correct.

We need a big lock like most teams have today.

If anything the Safs are carrying too much weight for mine, could do with some trimming. Not that we have seen Jsaf in a while.

We don't need size, we need consistent performers who can eat up the meters every game.

Love to have the luxury of Ese at lock, guys footwork is lethal and its a waste but a necessity his up front at the minute.

Fox opinion article stating biggest losses and gains for each club ahead of next year. Lino, Glasby and Ramien are all considered their respective clubs' biggest losses. It's only an opinion piece but it's good to see someone else rating our new recruits highly. Hoping for more decent pickups before next year.

Got to take into account who those clubs are losing as well. I mean Korbin Sims is Broncos biggest loss in that article.

Ramien and Lino are good signings. Glasby is just a massive dud signing though. Won’t be able to hide in the Knights pack with his 60m games like he can behind Bromwich, NAS, Kaufusi etc at the Storm.

Looks like going to be hard to get new middle forwards so it is critical that the club gets JSaf fit and ready to go along with Glasby, DSaf and Esee, if we have those four fit and well we will be ok it's the backup to them that is the worry.
