Team you love to hate the most

Bennett is a stupid fool, but I don't mind the Broncos. They are a pretty boring team to watch, though.

 Oh Seabass u cracked me up. NZ have produced some good players and some that could be good coaches i'm sure.

We had the world's best coach in Brian McClennan, but in the world's stupidest decision we got rid of him when he went to the UK.

And now we are getting an Aussie in who doesn't live in NZ anyway?!?! The very reason McClennan was sacked!?!? Madness.

Bennet is a great coach though, maybe the best ever, his attitude towards the public just annoys me. NZ should grab him for sure, and get rid of that useless idiot Kemble.

GARY Kemble has kept his job as Kiwi coach - but the question remains: for how long?

A New Zealand Rugby League board meeting in Auckland today confirmed Kemble would keep the top job, but chairman Gary Haffenden announced he would speak to Kemble next week following a crisis-ridden time for the coach.

His position became doubtful after captain Roy Asotasi said earlier this week that he did not have the confidence of senior players.

Kemble did not attend today's board meeting. He was in Sydney, trying to gain player support in the wake of the comments by first Asotasi, and then teammate David Kidwell.

NEW Zealand Rugby League officials will today offer Wayne Bennett a job and hear proposals to appoint a host of other staff members who live in Australia.

As Kiwi board members prepare for their most important meeting in memory, Gary Kemble will fly out of Sydney this morning with a blueprint he hopes will shore up his besieged standing as national coach.

The Daily Telegraph understands that Kemble wants Brisbane's Bennett put on as either a coaching "mentor" or technical advisor.

But Kemble will also table a plan involving one or two Sydney-based liaison officers to deal with players on a regular basis and other training and match-day staff from NRL clubs.

It remains uncertain if the controversial rule that the national coach must live in New Zealand will be lifted.

Watching events intently from Jacksonville, Florida, are senior Kiwis Roy Asotasi and David Kidwell who have been openly critical of Kemble's reappointment.
