I guess Saulo gets the last bench spot? Don’t think anyone else is available. Was impressed by Purcell in Jersey Flegg but probably too soon.
 
O'Brien said in the presser that "we have more injuries than the two you know about" - so Clune and maybe one or two others?

Lee had no pre season while Hunt spent a good chunk of the preseason working with Gagai on the right and has played with him in the past - and right wing is Hunt's natural position and not Edrick's.

Toohey said recently that Milford could be available from the 11th. There is a chance he has been training and getting updates on our team etc, so he might be available and ready - but it would be a desperate move to drop him in with a couple of training sessions with Cliff.

Gosh the constant complaints and excuses from him about short turnarounds annoy me. It gives the side an excuse to dish up what we saw last night. Every single team has to deal with them! (well, except the Broncos)

Haha. Mate the NRL in general is a circus. I’m not blaming the ref at all for our loss, we had plenty of 6 agains etc. it’s the spear tackle that’s not sent, Ponga getting hit in the back. Marty laying down on the first hit up of a game lol. I actually watched Hawthorne and Carlton last week, never liked AFL. It was very enjoyable, the game flowed, it was exciting.
 
Said I would be happy with 3 out of 6 before season started after seeing the draw, expected losses Roosters, Penrith, each way Cronulla and Manly and expected wins Tigers and Saints.
Beat the Saints along with overcoming injuries etc then we are still in it, best team on park could beat most
 
I think if Clune and Young are ok then back 7 the same, Hunt cover for Young, Crosslands for Clune, less changes.
Start Thompson with either Saf, Jones, Frizell and Mann complete pack. Bench Sasagi, a Saf, Saulo and Sue.
Possible change Lee for Tuala if he comes through ok in reserves

Tuala would be unlucky to be dropped playing well BUT his work running out of our end is not as good as his try scoring ability whereas Lee if fit and back near his best is strong in that area and can sniff out a try but only if fit and ready

Just the knee-jerk reaction of people wanting him dropped for the same guy they've bagged out for the past 18 months.

Usually happens around here when we have a couple of crap results in a row, next they'll be calling for the Safs to play reserve grade and Best to play prop.

Then we'll break the duck and win a few games and suddenly we'll be booking grand final tickets again.
