Taia puts claim for Test spot in black and white


- Zeb Taia hopes the good form he showed in the ANZAC test will be enough to convince Stephen Kearney he is worthy of Test selection for the upcoming four nations series.

- Taia and Newcastle team mate Junior Sau, are currently training with the New Zealand Test squad in Sydney both players hoping for a test recall.

- "I'm really keen to play in the Four Nations . . . but if I don't get picked, I don't get picked and there's always next year. But I'm hoping I'm in the mix there and I get named - Zeb Taia.

Ok, I will edit it then.

Seriously though, whenever I post articles I always do something bloody wrong, ridiculious. Other people have done it the way I have aswell.

I just copy and Paste the main points of the article and add it to the thread. So you know, it's not plagiarism if you acknowledge where you got the information from which in my case I gave a link to the site.

I haven't noticed other people doing that but I'll check more carefully in future.

It isn't plagiarism if you acknowledge the source if you are using the quote in an essay etc. - using it to make a new point, but just copying sentences like that is reproducing the article without permission. So it is.

It is ridiculous, but it's not worth getting the Newcastle Herald angry again - I'm afraid that's the rule and they apply to everyone.

As for the article itself ... anyone else reckon Taia will be lucky to get a spot in the 17?

Ok then sorry James, I will put the statements into my own words from now on.

I personally think they would be mad to leave Zeb out of the team, he has so much passion for New Zealand and should stick loyal to him. Taia's debut match was superb and should stay loyal to him IMO.

Taia is leaps and bounds ahead of Masoe IMO, he is a much better player and capable of playing 80 minutes.

Mannering is more likely to force Taia out of the team than anyone.
 
It would be tough to leave Sam Perrett out of the side aswell he always performs well for the Kiwis and is in outstanding form, unlike Krisnan Inu id probably keep him around just to peel the oranges.

Zeb Taia is no chance of making the final cut however the four nations is a tournament and he may get an opportunity at some stage.
 
I'm looking forward to the battle between the NZ & Oz forward packs! Both have outstanding packs.
 
The thing in Taia's favour is they are building for the 2013 World Cup and may want to keep a consistent side.
