James rips into you (and others) because you are narrow-minded and refuse to have a proper discussion. If you accepted fault and other opinions you wouldn't be targeted so much. James is a Kiwi so he does have a bit of fire in the belly :P I can understand that you may think he is a know-it-all but he does often think before he posts and tries to keep it clean...but if you don't like what he says; retort! just try to keep it logical and rational ;) that's what makes a discussion....wait for it....a discussion!!

Hey i didnt make it personal and james is a kiwi but here in oz most people thing the same as me going by the comments on the league sites .James says he did,nt hurt anyone i beg to differ i think he hurt rugby league and every fan out there also james has a bit of fire in the belly but im not allowed too just because my fire is opposite to his and excuse you i posted how i felt about this subject and james straight away told me im wrong and should give SBW a break but i dont come on here to change james mind why should he do the same to me

I do see the logic in this. But, yes, you did come out of the blocks a bit fiery to be honest. Everyone over here says the same thing.

Oh brother. Where exactly did I say you weren't allowed to say your opinion or whatever you accuse me of? Point it out to me, because I'd like to know. All I've done is disagree with you, and said why. I did say you were being cynical. Not believing someone can change or should be forgiven is cynicism.

If you can't handle someone disagreeing with you then don't bother posting your opinion. You've gone on and on about someone else being scum and a dog, I've certainly said nothing that rude to you.

To say I only think the way I do because I'm a New Zealanders is damn insulting.

I tried reading your post but I gave up; it gave me a headache. The NZ belly of fire reference was to be taken light-heartedly; I only meant that he is a passionate fella who is happy to throw in his 2 cents into a discussion. Being a Kiwi doesn't predispose him to a certain POV on this matter.

Well maybe a trip to OPSM might stop those headaches ,and i know what u meant James is passionate about ; The Knights so am i , Rugby League so am i,Sonny Bill , Here we differ he thinks we should forgive and forget i dont .

can you honestly say that when you were 21 if you were signed to a contractt and there was a way that you could get out of it and sign a contract that will help set your future up financialy, i mean He knew that he was injury prone at the time and who knows in the industry that he is in he could be forced to retire tomorrow from a freak accident then what?
My opinion is that nothing is cirtain so why shouldnt he garrentee himself the best that is being offered to him.
He has shown remorse he has even gone above and beyond what is asked of him and given back now that he is finacially sound and knows that he can afford too.

personally i think its a greedy attitude like that is exactly what he was thinking and its the reason a lot of us dont want him back as we now have no respect for him and what and how he did things ...Also i am very proud to say i haven,t and would not do such a dog act mate .

I'm still waiting to hear what exactly your problem is with what I said? And an apology for saying I only hold a certain opinion because of where I was born?
 
I say we should just agree to dissagree on this topic. The way i see it is we all have our own opinions and no one seems to want to change...
 
Can someone find an article (preferably a reputable one) outlining EVERYTHING that happened? I question whether we are arguing with full information by what the odd person has said.
 
Nah, it's probably just a case of looking at wikipedia for the general gist and then searching google for specifics. One thing that hasn't been mentioned though is that Toulon and the Bulldogs came to an agreement, the Bulldogs were paid out and SBW was officially released.
