Smith said veteran Adam MacDougall (hamstring) was "in extreme doubt".

If he is ruled out, youngster Junior Sau is set to make his NRL debut.

A bit funny how we've all been aniticpating Uate's debut, and hardly mention Sau but he makes his debut first.

I guess it is better though to bring in Sau to cover a center with a center, rather than bringing in Uate and reshuffling the backline again.

I'm really looking forward to the attacking dimensions he brings. If he plays well out wide we could see him maybe there long term and Lulia elsewhere (Backrow) or bench in the origin period.

He has been the form back in NSW cup.
Not sure if his defence is as good as it could be, and he is very short so i'd hate to see them bomb him a lot - but his low centre of gravity means he has great footwork and also means he is hard to tackle.

Not at all, a former Raiders lower grade player. But his young and Brian Smith has heaps of wraps on him.

Well. Its mainly because Mad Dog is a centre and thats were we are in doubt. Therefore, Uate will only make FG if McManus or Vuna get dropped/Injured.

Most people on here on here seem to think that any junior who hasn't played first grade is the next origin regular, and anyone over 30 is on his last legs and should retire.
