I think that’s got absolutely nothing to do with it tbh.The Australian players have that extra level of fitness from playing SOO.
the Kiwis were the better side for 60 minutes till the pace of the game became unfamiliar territory for them in the last 20.
What a load of rubbish. That little bit extra fitness from 3 games played months ago…The Australian players have that extra level of fitness from playing SOO.
the Kiwis were the better side for 60 minutes till the pace of the game became unfamiliar territory for them in the last 20.

The clubs would also then all then be completely reliant on the nrl - so they’d probably reject the proposalConsidering half of NSW backline is playing for Samoa and one for Tonga I don’t think it makes any difference whatsoever.
Samoa must be favourites though if we are going by Billy’s logic.
Should be many more international games being played but where are they going to fit them all in…
NRL season should be shorter and only play teams once each per year on an alternating schedule for home/away but they won’t do that because the TV money will take a significant hit and then the players won’t want a pay decrease.
