Might have to change my mind back about Jefferies. Thought he’d turn things around because of how well they started the year but that’s all fallen apart now.

Wentworthville have the poorest defence in the comp, giving up 50 against most of the top sides.
The minor premiership is wrapped up if we can run in 50.

I missed most the game unfortunately, will watch it back once frustrations settle haha, but did Fane play poorly defensively or something? Discipline? The others I get for sure. Spain I think has done a wonderful job, I do wonder if it's a longevity thing for her and to give Lilly a chance who may have had a great off season. Though I agree she's not exactly a ball playing line breaking FB. But I'm hopeful for her that she plays some quality games.

Lucy has had some decent ball play, decisive runs against Broncos for a long range line break splitting the line. Being new to the game, though its probably a rest and reset thing.

Article in the Herald says Emily McArthur will be our first player to start in LF cup to make firstgrade. I can't remember if this was the 3rd or 4th year of LF cup.
Also talks about Charley Lahmert and says she arrived from NZ 2 years ago with no promises from anyone and has been player of the year in TG cup for 2 years in a row. Says she is very different to Higgins in style and loves to run the ball.
