Round 6 - Knights vs Tigers @ Hunter Stadium

Didn't think Feeney was that bad apart from that 1 terrible try.

Gagai easily motm, Korbin looked good in first half, asleep in the second half.
Mullen had some great plays, and some terrible plays, looked really frustrated by the end.
Hodkinson was great today, some nice runs and passes. Conversions still spot on.
That run from Smith for the first try was beautiful.
Overall we had great moments, and really bad moments, but hung in there for the win and that's all that matters.

I get the impression both of our halves are starting to get a bit frustrated with our penalties and bad play the balls and high tackles. I think its making them try things they wouldn't normally

I cant believe it, a win with no improvement 8n the first 5 rounds.
Totally mind blowing lol.
Great stuff boys!
Awesome crowd which was fantastic to see.

the refs gave every 50/50 call to them until that last one - I think the crowd would have invaded the pitch if they didn't call that last one forward after just disallowing a Knights try for the same thing.
I think both went backwards.

We didn't have a single forward that ran for over 100m according to NRL.com, but still felt like we dominated the middle pretty easily. Those defensive sets where we were rushing up and wacking whoever had the ball were a thing of beauty. Good effort all round. Thought Feeney was alright all things considered.

We've got Brisbane next week so let's enjoy this while it lasts.

Feeney probably cost us a try in defence and cost us 1 in attack as well - which looks pretty bad on paper - but I thought he'd do worse

You can't complain about the ref when we gave away 4 penalties after averaging 10+ We had some bad calls, they had some bad calls. Uate has crossed 3 times now this year, probably all should have been tries but only has 1 to his name. We were definitely better in the ruck today, but still things that need to be worked on.

I thought the ref may have dropped his whistle at some point, he let ALOT go, but for both teams so there was no bias I can't complain
Most of our boys stepped up today

I'm mostly impressed with our discipline around the ruck, I don't remember giving a penalty away from laying in the ruck or flopping, etc..

Was at the game and the refs held a massive 10 all game for both teams.and even so it felt like we were up in their faces all game

Goes to show stats arent everything our forwards are having a massive dig.

Gags was incredible, Mullo and Hodko looking good.

Special mention to our wingers doing a great job.

Feeney was a bit shakey but finished well.
