I didn’t get to watch the game, but it the stats it says Pearce only had 50 odd kick meters while Lino had the majority. Was Pearce carrying a leg injury or something?

I think he has a hamstring injury. He was grabbing it and stretching it earlier on in the St George game.

Although I've bagged Pearce every game including the trial I always ask the question ie is he injured. Training photos showed him wearing the non contact vest for weeks. In round 1 or 2 if he wasn't "carrying" and arm then I'm a jockey. That try where the Panthers threw it back from dead in goal Pearce watched the ball go past him on the ground and made no attempt whatsoever to dive on it. He's either playing wounded like Mullen did many times or has his mind well and truly elsewhere. On a side note how would you like to be buying the strapping this team uses ? Is anyone 100%.

Makes you wonder, if Pearce is injured then rest him, if it’s of field dramas causing his form drop off then how does that relate to Ese’ese being dropped supposedly for same.
