It's posted in the State of Origin section of the NSWRL site - where they only have SOO related topics, and only talk about potential SOO players.

Looking at the actual footage of Soward's spiel, it does look like the sub editor over egged that pudding a lot. The quote was right, but very different context than Soward intended.

Yea that's the problem for me. The build up had me hoping unspectacular and does a job was going to be a thing of the past. His service from dummy half makes Travis Waddell look like Danny Buderus.

I wouldn’t say buhrer is a good defender
Can be pretty ineffective in many tackles

If Woolford is not considered good enough to cover Levi then the choices are Watson, often injured, Mann not his spot, or Buhrer who doesn’t quite fit anywhere in 1sts.
Best option for Buhrer, apologies 88, is for him to train, practice and play hooker come 18th man so if required can play 14 covering 9 with occasional games in reserves to maintain match fitness. Feel sorry for players that are not quite making it but to good to leave and having to play various position such as Watson, Sione, Mann, Buhrer etc, hard to settle but open to criticism when a team loses or plays bad.
It’s all a juggling act, not quite good enough for 1sts but too good to let go, be nice to have a strong 13 with a versatile 4 on the bench covering it all, can dream

If Watson does not get a starting spot, he will be the bench utility.

Once he is fit though, I am sure he will be the starting 5/8, with Mann likely to get the bench spot ahead of Buhrer.
