I really think sims deserved his spot on the bench disappointed in that decision. I can understand tahu, let him build back t first grade. We should go well tonight....

That's the whole point of putting him back imo, it should make him even hungrier for another shot at first grade and to keep working harder. If he goes away and thinks he's better than everyone and doesn't continue to play to the highest standards then he shouldn't be playing. He's only 21 so he has all the time in the world, I'm sure Bennett wants to see his dedication and maturity here and continue playing good footy which by all reports it seems like that's exactly what he did today.
 
People are being a bit harsh on Costigan tbh, he was strong Round 1 and good Round 3 on par with if not better than Snowden and Smith. Did he even make any errors on Monday?

The rain should stay away, hopefully there's a good crowd. Not hugely confident though, Canberra are excellent on their day so they need to be taken seriously.

Costigans stats for the cowboys game are as follows

His stats for the year so far

26 runs for 197 meters
1 offload
71 tackles
6 missed tackles
2 errors

Pretty good imo...Could do with a few more off loads but besides that I think those stats are good considering he hasn't played more than 42 minutes this year (Average 35 minutes) they should make for great reading if he hits the form that got him a QLD jersey

Will be interesting to see how he plays the game out. I just hope Gidley gives alot of service to Mullen and Roberts and not take two scoots a set. He can sometimes get in the way from being to keen.

6th minute - Raiders make an error Knights ball on thier own 40m line

8th minute - Gidley goes himself on the last held up 1 meter out
 
Gidley has to pass a bit faster, or pass at all on the last.

Some good runs by Snowden early on!
 
9th minute - Excellent Kick from mullen great chase forces the dropout...well done
