Knights reserves very ordinary with Magpies playing well. Very short of good experienced players, need our injured to come back and that will bolster the reserves.
 
Saulo only got short minutes for fitness.
Jack Johns got very little time.
It looked like anyone who might play firstgrade just got 20 minutes to have a run.
Sasagi's kicking game was better than I expected, and I thought he went OK overall.
Matt Croker competed well with Russell Packer.
Harry Van Dartel played a few games for us a couple of years ago and couldn't catch a ball, and he still can't.
Randall has improved his dummy half work.
Liam Wilkinson has probably never played halfback before. He was no help to Sasagi, but having sasagi do all the halves work for 80 minutes can't hurt him.
 
Poor Watson being picked in #13 but playing off the bench yet again lol. Probably due to size of Tigers starting pack and perhaps a chance for Sue to get one over the Tigers, a former club of his, just like the Bulldogs.

The reserve grade game result is a concern for mine. Our first grade lineup (when healthy) is top notch but our depth is otherwise not good this year.
 
How was that a set restart with Nofouluma throwing the ball at Dsafs head? Is that played at is it?
 
Yikes and that’s why Young shouldn’t be in FG like slots has said. Needs to work on defence.

Nothing new from Shibasaki though. He really is average.

Tuala with some great defence though. By far the best centre at the club behind Best.
