Dude, just give it up and let it go.. We're done.
I am flying out to Africa tonight and will not be back until after the season is over so i dont have to sit through another disappointing loss again this year. But like i said if they win every game there is a good chance they will be in the 8. I will be back for first week of the finals it would be a nice surprise if they make it.

Tex Hoy scored a great individual try yesterday. Showed great speed and backed himself to beat their fullback. Looked very safe under the high ball.

He deserves a run especially with plodders like Mann having a mortgage on a First Grade spot.

Hoy has been good all year in my opinion. Other coaches seem willing to give their young blokes a crack when a spot becomes available while Brown just shuffles players out of position to fill the void. Nothing to lose now in trying something else.

Watching Gould talk about Penrith only having 1 player yesterday who didn't come through their junior system and saying the 3 who debuted show how good their juniors are reminded me that the Knights were the dominant side in under 20s last year, with our forwards like Saulo, Fermor, Alifa, Momoisea, Croker, Russell etc completely dominating them, and even our spine of 1 Cooper, 6 Hoy, 7 Crossland, 9 Starling had them covered easily.
If we had a coach who could bring on juniors, we have the talent.

There was a passage of play yesterday where Levi, Barnett and 1 of the Saifiti's were involved and I thought to myself there's 3 young blokes that have been here for a few years, know how low we've been and probably still are but their passion in that particular moment was very obvious. I'd rather have blokes with a mistake in them but playing like it means something at least losing wouldn't feel so bad.

How’s Ponga laughing with Gutherson and Takarangi at full time and then someone like Klemmer storming off p*ssed off without shaking hands.

That sh*ts me to tears when players have their season on the line and all they can do after the game is laugh and joke around with the opposition.

Just his personality. He’s gives 100% on the field, that’s the main thing.

Was it just me or is moga really slow moving sideways in defence? Was caught out so many times last night.
Do we have any upcoming centres in the lower grades?

It’s a bit like a lot of the players signed, problems arrived/surfaced after we signed them, Moga seems slow, yes he had serious injury, Ese’ese dropped due to defence problems, did he not have them before we signed him, Levi has attitude problem this season after not having one previous years, Gavet has problems with errors/penalties/referees all developed here apparently. Ramien, attitude, developed here and despite ability/talent unable to be resolved.
Something wrong in selection/signing or poor handling or lack of remedial action.
It needs to be fixed

There have been issues with Levi being a selfish player all throughout his career with the Knights. I believe there have been issues with his attitude as well.

I’m curious, what’s everyone’s thoughts on the walker brothers ?

Get off the crack pipe. Had 1 decent season in Qld cup and less than 50 percent record since. Would be as successful as Chris Anderson's 1 marker idea.

Gavet was the same player at the Warriors. One of the reasons they allowed him to go.

Best idea, but Brown would be crucified by the media if he did.

He's getting that already, particularly for playing Mann on the wing for a second week.

I think there'd be more support than criticism by giving Ponga another shot at 6 given the finals are out of reach.

Ponga was pushed back to fullback earlier this season largely because Watson was found lacking in that role.

If Hoy is given an opportunity and has a breakout month and a solid offseason then maybe he can lock up the fullback spot and solve our 5/8 headache. However I expect the development of Crossland will play a big part in that piece of the puzzle.

Haha this is exactly why we are in this predicament. Still tinkering with the spine, it’s a disgrace.
What would you go with packo? Seems every combo we have tried haven't really had much time as brown obviously thinks they can't do it. I'm still not sold on any of the blokes we currently have in the top squad.
