Honestly, we should be running Watson on the wing if we refuse to bring in a younger guy. He has speed, can catch, and won't be caught out by positioning like at fullback. Of course he's much better suited at 9, but he's played where ever needed so far this year.

And next year they might have Ese’ese, Ramien and Levi, how come they are coming good and we’re not.

    Imo he will.
The legendary coach status will stand forever then.

Been a Brown supporter for so long but now I've finally come to the conclusion that he is not the coach we need. He needs to be let go but not completely. Keep him in the club in a recruitment and salary cap management role. This is clearly what his skillset suits most. His inability to coach is evident in his love affairs with players i.e finding a spot for Mann every week, even if it means disrupting the whole backline/team to do so. Mann on the wing is the most idiotic move I've seen in a long time. I'm sure the constant positional changes all year from the coach has our players confused and trying to readjust week after week. Time to blood some youngsters for next year. Starford Toa for wing when fit and get young Hoy, Jones and Crossland some valuable NRL game time.

RIP 2019 FOR MY BELOVED KNIGHTS

While we have a lot of players playing under par at the moment, what the f*** happened to Pearce? He went missing against Melb & hasn't been seen since.

Are the Knights in danger of becoming another Gold Coast?

Decent players seem happy to come here on decent money, rave about the lifestyle but then underperform on the park.

I agree it's time to give some young local blokes like Hoy or Crossland a decent crack.

    My observations from the game...

Lee would have made a massive difference coming out of our own end where Parra killed us.

At least we got beat by a team that played well.

No coach in the NRL could take us (a team with Lino @ 5/8) to the top 4.

No chance this team is a finished product. Still to many mediocre players.

Last year Arthur couldn’t coach this year he can? Teams don’t always finish according to their talent. I’d say last year we over performed and got our hopes up and this year have underperformed.

The thing is we could have easily been top 4. We had a very easy draw this year and out of the blocks lost 5 in a row after the Sharks game. Then we went on a bit of a run of wins but since, have gone right off the boil and now lost 6 in a row isnt it now?

4 out of 10 home games won is just not good enough.

Add two wins from those 5 losing games earlier in the season and a few more from these last run of games and we are 5th looking at a top 4 berth potentially.

This "It's where we are at the minute" stuff doesn't wash anymore. The good teams don't accept mediocrity just because its our lot in life at the moment, neither should we.

Watching the game live it was great to hear the knights chant at Parra.
Barnett and Ponga seemed like the only two trying.
What is with Pearces kicking game?
Mann let in their first try, then they just kept kicking to him and running down his side when he rushed in. He's not a winger I can't understand how Brown doesn't see that.

Most of the team just looked like they had given up.

A few people I have spoken to are fed up with spending so much time and money supporting a team with these crappy results.
We supported them through 3 wooden
spoons and accepted it because it was a rebuild and the finals would come. rebuild is over and still sh@$y results.

It wouldn't suprise me if the number of memberships went down next year.

Just had a go on the nrl ladder predictor if we win all our remaining games we should make the 8. Still reliant on other results even if we don't make the 8 hopefully we can finish the season strong. I would be letting crossland play the rest of the season at five-eight.

Don't really blame Brown but do think he needs to stop Pearce from playing all over the park or at least lessen his responsibility, whether that means bring Ponga back to five eight or what idk. Lino's ok but we need more from the 5/8.
Team just looks clueless in attack

He stopped Levi playing his natural game, bringing in Brailey to feed Pearce who just doesn't seem capable of consistently keeping the opposition guessing or at all. Some forwards with footwork would be good...bye Ese

We have definitely underperformed this year but in hindsight I think that mid season run was misleading and gave the impression our players are better than what they are.

If we had of made the top 4 we would have been over performing.

Yes we have lost 6 games in a row.

Definitely time to look for another coach. Another season of underachievement and I would stop watching Knights games for the first time ever. I would only start watching them again when that start to win games.
