WOW...we were so brave... they were (and are) bloody hopeless:lol:...it would have been a crime if we had lost that one...next week will be the real test though as it is often a week later that the injury toll takes effect...

How funny were Brian's expressions. It was a painful game to watch especially with injuries. Im glad our defence was great and we hung in there...The guys on foxsports seem to be so scared about Cameron's injury they dont want to watch it..haha

I feel we could be in some trouble in the next few weeks.

the comentators on KOFM don't think that the sharks will make it into the finals after the performance tonight

In saying that we played well to win after we lost Mullen and Simpson early. So no doubt, we can do it again next week, if they arent going to be there.
 
Played abit like the Titans last weekend - started off abit slow and flat then just flew home.

Dureau - THANK GOD!

The rate Chris Houston played tonight - he will slot right in to replace Simmo.

I screamed 'You f*cking Idiot!' at Uate when he passed that terrible ball (sorry K4P)

Then the replay showed Smithy and he pretty much said the same thing. :lol:
 
Another positive coming out of that game is how much of an asset Dureau is in the halves. After his performance tonight, BS would surely be hard pressed dropping him...

Ciraldo's injury was horrible looking.

Was a very gutsy win and pretty enjoyable game to watch.
 
Watching press match conference atm...Brian's leaving injury sorting till tmrw but he was pretty impressed by how each of them stuck in the game

Smith said Dureau did his homework watching the Sharks last week...and he created his game today.
 
I was listening to the game on my mobile phone while I was out at TAFE. Thankfully it was self-paced work so the teacher didn't mind too much. Didn't act up as much like I did with the Jets game at darts.

Good win, although it was a bit shaky in parts. The injuries are a major concern though.

What's with Dureau kicking for field goal all the time?
 
God win. Not the best, but toughed it out, especially considering the circumstances.

Dureau was immense. Great game. I've always known he should have been there. Really good aswell considering there was no Mullen with him for the majority of the game. Kicking game was a bit of a mess at stages, but 40/20 was good.

Have to feel sorry for Ciraldo. Poor guy. Would have been in a **** load of pain.

Crounulla did everything to loose the game. Good defence by the boys. Just need to cut down on errors and better completion rate.

One thing that ticked me off was Cross hit on Barrat that was penalised. On first view it was bad, but seriously he was only bracing himself and Barrat ran into him. Poor refereeing, but we had a lot of calls go our way so can't complain too much.
 
Is it some sort of requirement that if you play for the Knights you need to be taken off with an injury, or atleast hobble off the field?

Great win, don't think the heart can handle another season if we keep this up though. Would be nice to win by 40 once, but hard to expect that when you have 14 players.

Hope Ciraldo injury isn't too bad, the guy played his heart out tonight from the minute he cam on. Had a point to prove to the sharkies i bet.

Yes but it would've been smarter and more of a high-percentage play to put it in the corners, make the Sharks players turn around and have to work it back from their goal line - or better yet, get a repeat set.

From 10 out directly infront I would say go for the field goal, but not from where Dureau was hacking at it from.
 
Gutsy effort from the boys to bring it home. Our backs weren't too great under the high ball, but Aku improved somewhat.

Is anyone else drawing similarities between Vuna and Uate? All game Uate was crabbing. If Smith could give him the same advice he gave Vuna to run straight I think it could improve his game immensely.
