Marshall played well? I have to disagree there. He did that good flick pass, that was it.

I know his coming back from injury but the amount of times Marshall made others look bad by throwing awful passes because he's afraid of getting tackled. It's just sad.

I think his slowing down the tigers.

Yea, wasnt at his very best. Just needs some more game time. Still Tigers should have won...

All penalties from scrums except for foul play are differentials. In the old days that would have included not feeding the ball straight, touching the ball while in the scrum, etc, but these are never called now.

These days it is pretty much limited to offside and breaking early.

He's been rubbish for years, only had one decent year and that's because Prince made him look good.
 
I don't get all the Marshall hate. How many times has he dislocated his shoulder, it's amazing he is on the field at all! And to say Prince made him look good in 2005 is downright bizzare.
 
Yeah Marshall is still quality! He is still fairly young aswell, But to come back from all those reconstructions is a mighty effort! I can only imagine what he would be like had he not had all the dislocations
 
I don't hate him at all. He is overrated imo, and yes the amount of injuries he has had and that he is still playing is amazing. Marshall has been a great roll model for the game, all the kids look up to him, trying to do a 'Benji step' for example.

I can't recall anyone saying they hate him ?

He is however extremely overrated and has done nothing since that one year, which was because Prince made him look good, which is now evident with how the two are playing.

Although I have to admit he has been great for young kids, but he just gets way too many wraps for doing nothing.
 
Benji is overated. The Tigers didn't win the premiership off the back of Benji, they won it off the back of Prince. The only reason Benji is remembered in that grand final is because he threw one good ball to Pat Richards. He is not consistent, and since coming back this year has had only one good game and unfortunately that was against the Knights.

It is amazing that he has come back from all his injuries, however I think he is more stupid than anything, he has the rest of his life ahead of him, imagine his body and joints in 20-30 years. He will be so soft because of all the dioislocations and injuries. Once he stops training after his career the injuries will probably come back, but be worse.
 
It'd be awesome to see the Prince / Benji combo again.

Just give the kid some more time, im sure hed be back to his best, if he stays injury free.
 
His underated IMO. I believe his a great player. His had some set backs from injurys. Let him have a few seasons with out injury and people will start to think his is a great player of the game.
 
How in the hell can he be underrated ? everyone raves on about him like he's won six Dally M's, captained NZ to three world cup wins, a few Churchill medals and golden boots.

I'm sick of hearing about him and SBW, I used to think Anasta was overrated but now SBW and Benji win easily hands down.
 
Yeh I don't hate Benji at all, he just gets too much credit for doing nothing.

He deadset smacked 3 guys in the face (Collis, Lawrence x2) yesterday with the ball because he didn't want to get tackled.

It will take him a while, but he is no superstar. The DT have him on the main cover of the paper and the Warriors win, I don't understand.
 
I just feel sorry for Benji. I think if it wasn't for his injuires he would be a much better than he is and actually live up to his reputation.
