Very happy with this side with some returns from injury, just hope they are all good to go, Ponga sounds like might not get on field if he is out likely to be Hoy.
Pearce needing to do defensive work will worry a recurrence and we know what happened to Hunt last time coming back. Klem should be ok, like him off the bench

@HarVeeGee13 you were near perfect with the starting 17. 👏🏼

Well I just had an 01' premiership winner at my house. Absolute legend of a bloke who talked all things current with me. Can't discuss what we said but pretty much on the same wavelength. Good ol simmo.

Great fella Steve. Most underrated player we had. Play 20-25 minutes at back row ad then step up to front row when book ends took a break.

Oh definitely. Most of the conversation was around certain players and effort areas. Something in which he didn't lack. Also along the lines of players now feel it should be dished to them on silver platters rather then working hard.

Easy to see late change jazz tevanga has 50 mins in him at hooker, extended bench has a hooker so he'll be in and Walsh out

The new rules are putting a lot of extra pressure on kick receivers.
Teams have woken up to the fact that hitting the kick receiver with everything you can will only give away an extra tackle if you get it a bit wrong now, instead of a penalty.
Last week we saw Hoy getting hit with everything but the kitchen sink, and most games now you see a winger or a fullback targeted and hit with everything in the hope that they'll buckle under the pressure.
Ponga has always been a target because teams want to try to bash him out of the game, but they had to get it right or give away a penalty. Now, they'll get a free shot at him pretty much.

Disagree Billy we regular missed out on the penalty for Ponga tackled in mid air and hit illegally. The last one was the mid air hit that saw the fool in the brunker impose the 'eyes on the ball' BS and give Jesse Ramien the try when it weas a penalty hands down.
