Wendell's almost a certain starter from what I've read. Should still me a good round, even without the Origin players. Looking forward to our game!

I think Titans v Storm has the potential to be one of the games of the season, but unfortunately it falls into the week all the SOO players are out. Bugger.

Eels dump Grothe
June 03, 2008

PARRAMATTA winger Eric Grothe has paid the price for his shocker against Brisbane, being dumped for the Eel¿s home game against Canberra.

Grothe has been replaced by 19-year-old Toyota Cup star Tony Williams, who will make his NRL debut just a week after angering Eels officials by agreeing to terms with rivals Manly for the next three seasons.

Grothe endured a horror night at Suncorp Stadium with opposite number Denan Kemp scoring four tries down his side of the field.

The eccentric winger, who was continually caught out of position in defence, won't get much of an opportunity to work on his game with Parramatta's Jim Beam Cup feeder side enjoying the bye.

“There are parts of Eric's game that we have asked him to work on and we feel we haven't seen the necessary improvement from him,” Eels coach Michael Hagan said.

“It is a shame for him that Wentworthville have the bye this week in the NSW Cup, but we hope that taking some time to think about things will bring the desired result.”

Krisnan Inu will move from the wing to the centres to replace Jarryd Hayne, who will attempt to get a dangerous throw charge downgraded at the NRL judiciary after being named in the New South Wales side for State of Origin II.

Just as I was telling my friend who's an Eel's friend that Grothe should be dropped, they drop him...

I think titans may give the storm a whooping, they have all the advantages really:
*Home Game
*Hardly any players out in origin
*storm have probably around the 8ish mark of players out for origin ( dont know the exact total)
