It was a strange game, some of it was down to inexperience, some down to Pearce & some down to sloppy errors. I don't think it was a game where we really took Dogs lightly.

Love the confidence of Best trying to run around Meaney, but was it the right call in the wet close to the line, obviously not.

Herman dropped the ball twice on the first tackle inside their 10, think Best also dropped it on the first.

Our forwards & Pearce were the disappointments of the day. Klem the only one doing work, JSaf waited until the 60th minute to bother & Pearce on the back of all the work our backs were doing, should of been controlling the game.

As much as Kurriboy wants to meme on my call that the backs were doing all the work, he's done nothing to prove otherwise. We had 4/5 running over 180m & the best Dogs back was under 150m. That's a hell of a lot of work in those conditions.

Tell you what, Klem gets a hard time. Might be different if he was born in Newcastle? Or maybe people get bored with his consistent excellence, dunno.

Yesterday he played 80 minutes, 19 runs for 198m, 57 tackles 0 missed and was even popping up a first receiver. And gets called lazy.

Couldn’t even crack 200 metres. Lazy bastard.

As much as Kurriboy wants to meme on my call that the backs were doing all the work, he's done nothing to prove otherwise. We had 4/5 running over 180m & the best Dogs back was under 150m. That's a hell of a lot of work in those conditions.

I'm willing to say they went alright. Just miffed at how poorly we were playing.

For all of that effort from the backs. we still had an L next to the win/loss column.

The first try he didn’t even make it back to the try line and they scored where he should have been, other than that he had a good game but shows how big one moment can be

OK , I have always said defense wins games and our defense has improved no end , we should be winning more than we lose, so where are we going wrong ?

It must be attack

• how many times was there a break with no one backing up in support
• How many times did it look like everyone waiting for someone to do something special
• How many resets didn't we get because too much heat on the kick
• How many times did a kick hit an opposition
• How many One off settles by backs and forwards were smothered by the D
• do we have any variety in our sets

1st Winger into traffic
2nd Centre into traffic
3rd Klem up the middle
4th Saf up the middle
5th Klem up the middle
6th Pearce kick ( usually into some one, cause it is so predictable ).

That must have been that blow up when the teams got together before one of our dropouts if I recall. Commentators were saying they had no idea what caused it.
